Good for a date night movie
My husband and I laughed throughout the movie. We even took some things the main characters do in the movie and incorporated them in to our nights out!

I'm Not Sure...
When I first heard about Steve Carell and Tina Fey doing a movie together, I was sure it'd be a riot to watch. Unfortunetely, this film did not live up to the bar. I'm not sure if the hype surrounding the two leads ruined it by setting my expectations to high, but I didn't laugh as much as I wanted to. Despite it's flaws, the film wasn't a total wipeout. Despite my hopes that their "marriage" would be more comedic, Steve Carell and Tina Fey do make a nice couple. Mark Wahlberg actually had a costume person working for him on this film despite never wearing much of a costume (his girlfriend wore more than him in this film and that's saying something.) That in itself is kind of funny. Common and Jimmi Simpson made a nice pair of ultimately dirty cops and Taraji P. Henson did a good job trying to figure out what exactly was going on even though she was sure she had the answer on the tip of her tongue the whole time. Naturally, I can buy Ray Liotta's mobster performance any day of the week so I feel he was underused here. As for William Fichtner, I know for a fact he can easily play corrupt and nefairious characters...that talent wasn't seen here...he just didn't get a real chance to bring that out. I will say that my all-time favorite line was said by Tina Fey: "Oh my God! This phone smells like urine!" True, it's funnier in context, but you get the gist. Ultimately, if you're just tired (i.e. you've got kids and/or a job), this film is as good as any to pop into the DVD player to relax and enjoy...perhaps with your significant other...your own quiet date night.

Funny comedy, with two strong comedic actors
This was so fun to watch. You have two wonderful actors who are very present in this film making it both realistic and funny. I’m glad to have this in my collection and would recommend to anyone who enjoys relationship kind of comedy.

Review of DATE NIGHT
Steve Carell and Tiny Fey star as a married couple, who after stealing a resveration and a really posh restaurant for their Date Night (see the title trick there?) are on the run from 2 dirty cops. I think that this movie was hilarious, with shocking sexual references throughout the movie and a running gag about Jeanne Tripplehorn. Don't forget, Mark Walberg stars in the movie, who Fey acts crazily about... The movie is a thriller, along with romatic, and comedic, with bizzare situations happening every minute, which liftens up the plot a lot more.
