Buy it! Try it! You have nothing to lose but mice!
Some of these review questions are silly. Amazon is asking me to rate the thickness, warmth, and ease of use. That doesn't make much sense for this product. I'll include pictures. Let's start out with the fact that I was very sceptical about how well this would work because I have tried another brand in the past, big, bulky, square ones and they definitely did not help. So yes, I was more than skeptical but at my wit's end. We usually get mice every fall and spring. I am deathly afraid of those nasty little critters. This summer ( for the first time in 21 years in the summer) we kept getting a mouse every couple to few weeks. We have traps set year round and know where the little buggers come in at so we catch them right away. I had enough and my SO will not let me get a cat so here we are. This came with two pest repellers. I only plugged in one because like I said, we know which room they are coming in to. I plugged it in 10 days ago. We are getting cooler fall weather now so they would normally be coming in. There has not been a single mouse inside since! Not one! We live in South Dakota and it is prime real estate for field mice. I am keeping this thing plugged in year round. If I never see another mouse again, it would be too soon. Okay, so on to more about the pest repellers...They are quite small, which you will see in the pictures. It is not warm to the touch even after being plugged in for 10 days. There is a switch on the side to turn it off and on, although I'm not sure why you would turn it off. They come in a small little box with 2 repellers. I can't report on how it works with other pests like bugs because we don't have that issue. I guess it lets out a high frequency sound. It doesn't seem to affect my Chihuahua at all. Great buy. I would recommend it to everyone terrified of rodents.Edit- I wrote this review in September 2020. It is now March 31st, 2021. We have not had a single mouse since I plugged this thing in!

Complete waste of money.. Don’t do it
This product does not work. Had small issue with a few field mice. Purchased these and plugged them into unobstructed areas as stated on the paperwork that came with these.. After a month and a half the mice running directly in front of them got something a whole lot more efficient. Glue traps. Took care of the issue the very day I put them down. By this time couldn’t find the original packaging so stuck with these useless nightlights. Take a 1/4 of the cost of this and get glue traps and don’t waste your money on this.

it actually works
it’s been exactly a month and it seems to be working great. we never had a big problem with insects but i did start to notice small roaches (eww) every couple of weeks or so. we live in a condo building in the city and unfortunately, you never know the type of neighbors you might have. since i’ve plugged these in, i haven’t had any roaches or other insects in our place. i don’t think it works for ALL insects because i will still have a very small fly here and there when i open my windows but this has definitely shown to work for the disgusting invasive insects that can overcome your home. i deducted a star because i noticed there’s a slight ticking sound that comes from them now and then but nothing annoying like other i have tried.

Maybe it works, but not totally.
If you buy these, don't throw away your old peanut butter-baited traps. I placed one of these just three feet away from an old-school mouse trap. We didn't catch any mice for a couple of weeks, then in one week we caught two. It's impossible to know if these pest repellers work. You can't hear them or see the mice run away. We might have experienced a lull in usual pest migration, or maybe the two we caught had a congenital hearing defect to the ultrasonic sound which they paid for with their lives. It seems like we're getting fewer mice, but since we have caught two I can't say these are a sure thing. A pest control service would be more expensive. Having a cat is even more expensive, so I guess these are a bargain, although they don't bring you a dead mouse to show you how good they are.

Worked in 1 night
We had a squirrel making a nest in the attic, active every night for 3 nights. Tried strobe lights, hard rock music, moth balls where they were setting up the nest. Purchased this electronic repeller and the first night we set two up in the attic and turned them on, we could hear the squirrel acting very agitated, running around and not long before it left the attic for good. It is several weeks later and the squirrel(s) have not returned. We are so far keeping the repellers on. Also these have not affected our dog at all. We are very happy with this purchase.

It actually works! Cockroach problem is gone!
I was hesitant about products like this. But, I purchased this for my kitchen, in which I put both of them in outlets behind my microwave and near my sink. I used to have upwards of 4+ roaches coming out in the middle of the night. I tried everything and they would just keep coming back. Surprisingly, after 5 days of using this product, I have only seen one roach. This thing actually works! I dont know the science or mechanics behind it, but it actually works. If you have a problem with roaches, I strongly suggest trying this!

High hopes but the mouse lives on.
Our cat brought in a mouse that wasn't dead. The mouse got away. Now he lives in our house and we can't find him anywhere but we see signs of his existence, such as mouse droppings. I have both these devices in the same room--kitchen/living room--which the mouse frequents. So, I can state that the device doesn't work. Also, the device is said to eliminate fruit flies. Nope. They still buzz around the kitchen. Total waste of money.

NO. It does NOT work!!
Awful!!!This didn't do a thing. It even says in the fine print to wait a better part of a month to see full effect. Which I have done. Its not working on mice or roaches like it said. Also it won't go through walls or fabric of any kind which it also states in the fine print. So it only covers open spaces. Basically 1 for each room is a must and opening cabnit and closets every night just to try and see if this worked. This product is NOT worth it please save your money and buy something else.
