ACDelco Gold 18A2687 Black Hat Front Disc Brake Rotor

So I got these because they seem to be of a decent quality for a great price. I really like the idea of the hat being painted to prevent rust.When reading the description I expected all untouched faces to be painted as that is how the description was written. However when receiving the rotors I saw that the hat was painted, the outer edges and a small way down the fins, but the back of the hat and the rest of the fins were completely untouched. I think I would still buy these again the lack of coating in these areas makes me think it will not be as protected as I thought.

The rotor fit my 2013 Odyssey fine. I had it on for maybe two months and maybe 2500 miles and it’s still good. Hopefully this will last a few years.

Fits my Honda Odyssey 2011 front brakes very nicely. Combined with the new brake pads, braking is very smooth. One of my old front brake rotor was warped slightly, causing the steering wheel to shake when braking hard. It took me quite some effort to remove the old rotor, as the warping caused it to be jammed against the wheel bolts. I had to use a 5 pound hammer to hammer the old rotor out millimeter by millimeter. But the new one went in smoothly. My neighbors must have thought that I picked up the profession of blacksmith.

Well, for the money that I paid for these ACDelco rotors I can't complain too much, but these rotors only lasted 17K miles before warping & shaking when I apply the brake.

This seem really good. They had a lot of greasy coating on them so make sure you clean all that off super well with brake cleaner. The quality looks decent. I put them on my 2014 Odyssey instead of turning the prematurely warped factory rotors. They are so far working great. Hopefully they won't warp as well!

Coating within fins hopefully will delay rust. Cheaper brands do not have this. Mounting holes were drilled perfectly.
