MyChelle DermaceuticalsClear Skin Balancing Lotion

I've been searching for something new that doesn't cause breakouts and, more importantly, doesn't cause allergic dermatitis. The last lotion I was using changed, and like so many other things, caused the equivalent of poison ivy on my face (not pleasant). I got this and the oil-free grapefruit lotion at the same time and rotated them for two weeks at a time, and have since been using this one. I'm not allergic to either, which is great (!), but this one is just a bit better than the grapefruit for me in terms of preventing adult acne. I also like the texture of this one on my skin better, although they are very close in that aspect. Works well under mineral powder makeup too. I find scent on both to be light and tolerable, and I'm very sensitive to perfumes. It is expensive, but the quality is high. I do find it annoying that the price on here fluctuates quite a bit, which is unfortunate, but I need to put something on my skin so it's not chapped and my choices seem to be limited. I also think the pump could be better. It leaves a lot left in the bottle. I got another 8 days worth out of it with one of those tiny spatulas. However, 5 stars from me for being a very nice lotion that doesn't cause me problems.

UPDATE 10/10/2017***So the bottle only lasted a month, and that is with me only using it in the mornings after I wash my face. Also, the front of the little bottle claims to be "clear skin balancing lotion..." not entirely sure what that means, but it did absolutely nothing for my acne scars, a few cystic pimples I have, or my rosacea (not that it claimed to help with that, but one can hope, right?). So I took off another star (original review was 4 stars out of 5) because it didn't help improve my skin at all - it didn't make it worse, but it didn't help either. I also don't like that you can't see through the bottle, and the bottle itself has some weight to it, so I had no idea I had run out until the other day when I went to put it on like normal and nothing came out. So just ok in my book. I like that it's natural, but I'm still going to search for my HG moisturizer.ORIGINAL REVIEW***I have extremely oily skin along with the sunburnt look of rosacea (ugh). also, due to surgical menopause, I now have some random pimples that come and go that I did not have before. that being said, look people - unfortunately there is no magical cream for us oil slicks. I've tried just about everything out there. I use those oil-blotting sheets on the daily! that being said, moisturizer is still important and I've been on the hunt for a new, more natural one that doesn't feel oily or slimy or greasy or smells like perfume. This one meets all those requirements, with a surprising added bonus - it dries matte! (hey, it's the little things in life). so my face routine is applying this lotion, then putting milk of magnesia on (this is the best thing I've used for years to combat oiliness) and then whatever makeup and such. I will definitely purchase this again! I love that it sinks right in without feeling heavy and is made from natural ingredients. :)

I had called the MyChelle people to ask what I could use for a combination skin that wouldn't clog up my pores. This is what they recommended and it's truly perfect! Nice even moisturizing to reduce fine lines and never greasy or oily. Been using for a year now and I'm extremely satisfied!

This moisturizer has been great for my 14 year old daughter who has battled acne. We tried EVERYTHING. This has helped her battle winter dryness without breakouts. It’s not greasy looking and is very soothing. I have it on subscription. The bottle is small but if you’ve spent money on products that haven’t worked or have spent 2-3 times the price, try this!!

It feels weird on the face. It doesn’t say firming cream but it tights and feel not like a cream/lotion should. Not happy

Doesn't work for my very oily skin so I gave it to my daughter. It has a very light fresh scent just wish it worked for me. But again I have VERY oily skin I need a product specifically for oily skin so nothing against this product just not for me
