Piece of art, really. Tiny, does the job of much bulkier and unwieldy connectors. Somebody thought of a great design. Perfect for travel when want to minimize a bunch of wires. Bying more. I wish it was cheaper - would buy way more.

Very well designed and has every charge/connection option you could need in a very small form. It's solid, well made with strong magnets that keep it together so it'll stay on your keychain etc. without falling off. I haven't had it very long, so I can't speak to longevity, but for the few times I may need to make some random connection, I doubt it will fail and i've already used it a few times and fits very well with solid connections on all ends. I wouldn’t use it for my daily phone charger, I don’t think that's the idea, but it will be there when you need it.

Update (2/15/21): Since my original review I’ve learned the cable only supports power in one direction. The end with the USB-A adapter must be connected to the device that is supplying the power, in order to power a device connected on the other end. It’s fine for connecting a drive to a USB-A or USB-C device (since there’s a USB-C plug on that end also), but will not work if the host device is Lightning or micro-USB. For that reason I have removed one star from my review. If you need to connect a drive to a lightning or micro-USB phone or tablet, it will not work unless the drive has a separate power source. Original Review (2/11/21): Purchased this product because I grew tired of carrying so many adapters for my USB-C cables. I tied the various adapters to the bottom of their relevant cables, be them on my USB-C to Lightning cable or the USB-C to USB-C … since I didn’t want to grab the wrong cable and not have my adapters with me. Two cables in an effort to minimize the number of cables I had to carry, but with so many adapters (three on each cable) it was still a messy situation … smaller, but messy. This micro-cable is a breath of fresh air. Enough so that I purchased two, one for my bag, and one for my desk to always have on hand. It really feels minimal in comparison to my prior situation. Prior adapters were all flimsy and didn’t last long. I don’t think this one will be an issue. The flat cable is a bit cumbersome to maneuver in some cases, but it can be easily reversed (twisted under) to accommodate more difficult positions. The only issues are: Though the USB-A adapter end snaps into place with a satisfying click, the micro-USB / Lightning connector end does not. The latter has a mushy fit that gives a polarizing experience with both sides to directly compare. It feels like it would easily come off in comparison to the USB-A side that instead feels secure. Maybe that will become a more significant issue as the retention starts getting some wear. For now, it’s not a problem that I’d take stars off for, or “not” recommend it to anyone even slightly. However, the other issue is the abysmal transfer speed (photos / screenshots included). I ran speed tests using both adapters and a Samsung T7 External SSD drive, and both adapters received measly 39.1 MB/s write and 34.9 MB/s read speeds in comparison to the 1273.6 MB/s write and 2200.9 MB/s read of a proper USB-C to USB-C cable (Anker's USB-C 3.1 specific cable). This is a non-issue for me personally since I’d still carry a USB-C to USB-C cable even if this cable wasn’t slow … but it would have been nice to just grab the adapter sitting on my desk when I want to plug in a drive. A minor inconvenience. That being the case, if you absolutely need a high speed cable, then you’re stuck carrying an additional cable. If charging and the occasional file transfer are your only needs then this adapter will be perfect. Just keep in mind this is NOT a PD / high speed charging capable cable not only is the data slow but so is the charging. Otherwise, this is a great cable that I highly recommend. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a high-speed + PD version down the line, as it seems micro-USB and USB-A will be necessary for awhile.

I want to start with an important bit of info: if you are on the spectrum or have sensory issues with touching certain feeling fabric, I would recommend getting a brand with a metal or other cable material. My brother says it feels fine but I do not like how it feels; cable has a rugged nylon feel. I bought this to use for data transfer as I keep needing to use multiple cables and swapping in and out of various adapters. Absolutely incredible at doing what it intends and at a very reasonable cost. There are others like this cable that are far more expensive but this thing will work for 90% of people (those needing speeds so fast files are done transferring before you blink can buy the more expensive one; this thing still hauls butt.) The materials used are nice and feel strong and sturdy in the hand. It even includes a slight indentation so you can plug even with a phone case. The cable for this is short, but made of a flat nylon-like material; strong but small. The magnets are strong as heck and hold well. My only complaint is the lack of a covering on the plugs when you have this folded up; only an issue if you are concerned about water or dirt (again, just get the brand with a covering included if you are concerned). Also, had to order 3 times because the first one just was not shipped and customer service forgot the second one (my replacement).

5/5/24 Update: the company contacted me after I posted this review and sent me a new cable. It didn't physically break but it also never worked. Downgrade to one star. My last keychain cable lasted less than a year, which I found disappointing, so I decided to invest in this pricier version that was better! Stronger! Brakes faster! I’ve used it a handful of times since August when I received it, and have been frustrated the last few uses when I would check my battery level and discover the phone wasn’t charging. Today, it kept disconnecting from my phone instead of helping it get charged. After taking off the case (because maybe *that* was the problem?), I put my charging phone down on the couch. Apparently this was enough force to break off the clearly loose (for a while) lightning charger. What a rip-off! The magnets may be super strong, but what’s the point if your connection point is so weak??? I hate buying products that don’t last long but make up for being disposable by being very inexpensive, so either I hope the next pricey one works or I get ready to contribute to more landfills.

It's a fine cable. For me it's just a bit too short, very difficult to actually use. Also, there is a severe design flaw with the micro usb/lightning side. Because of the hybrid design it lacks the hooks that typically hold the Micro USB in, and so it falls out VERY easily. The cable in the middle should have been a C to C cable, not a C to Micro to avoid this. Especially because micro and lightning is falling out of use, I've only used it a handful of times myself, and just put electrical tape on that connector so it won't fall out. I like to have it for emergencies, and stash it in my wallet, but this is not a primary cable.

Overall very impressed with this item, carry it basically every day on a keychain/ pouch and basically don't ever notice it unless I need it, the magnetic part of it is really good for attaching it to things and keeping it compact and also makes it quite fidgety for anyone that likes that hehe. The main use being that it is a cable however works fairly well, however the 2 in 1 lightning/ micro usb head only just works for micro usb, you sometimes will have to move it around before it actually does anything, but it does work in an emergency. The main usb c head works well also however recently I have had it not charge correctly because of the weight pushing on it must misalign something, but moving it around makes it work ok again. It's also worn down a lot as shown in the picture, but it has been used a lot :). Overall I'd personally wait/ look around for the X version of this item, not sure if it's out yet but it seems like it'll just be better, higher charge rates etc, this one's quite limited with the charge rate! But if you can't get that other version this one has been great for me and I would recommend!!

Das inCharge 6 ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und unglaublich praktisch. Dank der verschiedenen Anschlüsse kann man fast jedes Gerät mit nur einem Kabel laden.
