Little Tikes Go N Grow Lil' Rollin' Giraffe Ride On

Very cute and fun toy that my twin grandson's love. Gave to them for first birthday. They push it around and it is helping them to learn to walk and keep balance. They are also developing thinking skills and how to get on and off the toy. A few tumbles, but small enough that it doesn't discourage them from trying again.

My son who is almost 2 years old got this toy for Christmas. I have always liked Little Tike Items but this one really got my nerve. We had the whole family there watching him ride around on it after it was put together and suddenly it stopped, without him stopping it and it flung him over the handle bars and the whole thing came down on him busting his nose and mouth. The seat will not stay on it well anymore but of course that could be fixed with glue and screws, but I just wanted other parents to know of the dangers of this item. I called Little Tykes, just to let them know of the danger of this item, that it would lock up, and there was nowhere for me to call or anywhere for me to send an email to get a response. From a concerned parent.

My 2YO daughter tipped back and hit her head HARD on the kitchen floor. This is the third time she's tipped back on this toy.I put other ride-ons in our house for her, but this was is simply too dangerous. I think with the seat back for older toddlers the center of gravity makes it dangerous.On a positive note, she found it easy to steer around the house so I'm sad to see it go. It was a good fit for her. If you have ONLY carpeting, I'd say OK. But then again, carpeting will slow it down and make it harder to steer. We have all carpeting except for the kitchen floor.I would never use it outside on cement.

this little giraffe looks so sweet, but thats about it. first off, on the internet, it says not for babies under 3, but on the box it says for 1-3 yr. old. My son is almost 14mo, very good walker, climber, etc but both he and his little 18mo old friend fell off this toy many times till I took it away. Its much smaller than it looks, not supportive and dosent turn well. The kids love it, but they also love the box it came in, which in my opinion a safer toy. o well

this is a great toy for a little older toddlers. the handle bars turns the whole front. not good if a child wasnt something to lean there back on. child cant be to tall cause the front wheels will run over there foot. i brought this for my daughter at 20 months and she loves it but as she gets older she like to put her feet up on the front wheel bars and makes her daddy push her around the house and she turns the handle bars to go where she wants her daddy to take her. other then that this is a great toy its very durable she bangs right in to the wall throws it down and not one scratch on it. very easy to put together just need a screw driver and a hammer for once used. the stickers are the only thing that i dont like cause my daughter can peal them off real easy. but over all this is a great toy..

This is such a cute toy!! Absolutely love the look of it. We bought this as a gift for our little baby girl. She is only 12 months so is still lacking in motor skills to use it but definetlg a great product for 18 months and over! She seems to enjoy it very much and we are looking forward to when she can ride around it. Definetly a great item to purchase!! It does seem a bit small so definetly expect her to outgrow it.

We received this bike for our daughter's first birthday. She needed something that she could push and walk but also something she can grow into when ready to ride. This is the perfect compromise. The large "ear" handles are perfect for gripping to walk. There are no pedals to get in the way. The steering can turn slightly but not too much for little ones. Perfect first ride-on!

This girafe is a great idea, but a waste of time and money. After easily putting the product together it was incredibly disappointing to find that the big wheel in the back does not turn. The shaft that was given was to short and the wheel is squished so tight that it does not role.Child tries to ride it but ultimately drags the thing around.She virtually quit riding it. I had to create another shaft that was longer so that it would work properly.Unless you like fixing things, do not order this.
