Is this cable stc or utc

If you look at the pictures they supply it wouldn't seem they are UTP. But for me, I've never taken the cable apart to find out for sure. I suspect that most standard Cat 6 cables will be similarly designed. If you need a specialist cable, maybe Ugreen can help - they do supply a customer enquiry email address on their web site.

How much thinner is this than a standard cable?

The description says that the diameter is 5.5 mm which is about the same as many of my existing unbraided cables but my 5m cable has diameter less than 4mm. I'm quite taken with the flat cables which are about 7mm x 2mm but are probably less robust. "Horses for courses"! Ugreen have a customer support email of support@ugreen.com. Their web site is very helpful concerning USB cables, but you only find ethernet cables by searching and then they tell you the same as Amaon!
