New zoysia sod laid down in fall of 2020. In the following years my lawn started getting dead patches in spite of watering and using a lawn service faithfully. Was about to give up in 2024 when I read about Soft Soil for compacted ground which I believe I had. Applied the product twice in the spring and my lawn came back as good as new sod! Like carpet. This stuff really works. Just ordered some more.

The first was a 32oz. just to try it out and see how it worked. My yard was sooo compacted and after using this i was really surprised how easy it now was to stick my pitchfork into a much softer soil. This time i ordered a gallon just to have on hand and use it again in a few weeks or so. The grass lawn is showing great signs of new growth and i always had bad luck with it especially around summer time and the hot sun killing it. This does have other added benefits in it too so that made it more than just a susfactant.Great for the pricepoint and amount compared to others. I'm happy with this and my lawn is too.

For what it is, it worked. I did aerate the soil. Now for the Cons.1. A 32oz bottle only treats 500sq.ft. So if you need to treat 2000sq.ft, you will need 4 bottles. For a cost of $80. Or... you can get a better product where a 32oz bottle treats 12,000 sq.ft for about $35. Now you can treat 6 times with the same bottle.2. It smells like a year old porta-potty that was used by more that 500 construction workers. Worse than raw sewage.I now use "Covington naturals, Liquid Lawn Aerator" it works really good. Its all natural, 32ozs treat 12,000 sq.ft, and ... it doesnt stink. For about $35.

I have a new construction home and yard is very compacted. Been using this product all summer and I gained depth with the screwdriver test after using it for couple of months. Not an overnight fix but it is definitely helping loosen my soil

First time using this product. Smells a little after application. Followed application instructions. Easy to apply using end-hose fertilizer bottle. Since my lawn is sandy soil, see if it helps with soil softening and if it allows more water to penetrate the underground soil. Will see if helps my lawn grass.

Wasn't a beliver until I keep using it for 2 season and the result speak for itself.

Everything grows a lot bigger and stronger when using every other week.

my patch of grass it 6x20 and this bottle claims to cover well above that sizing. I applied in multiple stages and thoroughly watered. the dirt beneath my grass is still hard as a rock and lumpy as ever.Will 100% change my review if my grass/soil softens in the next 30 days...
