Texas - state with enormous geo variety
I encourage you to first read the book description with the list of subjects on the webpage. Fascinating book. Right now, I have six bookmarks, one which is at the read-thru location and the other five at places to which I just randomly opened and just started reading -- it is that interesting. I will appreciate much more what I see, and I will go to places about which I did not know. Caves, craters, rocks, minerals, mountains, oil regions, salt domes and mines, mineral mines, rock layers, buried mountain ranges, sand dunes, ...

Good overview of Texas geology
Good overview with a lot of information in one place. Wish it had more maps.

Excellent Glimpse of Texas Geology
The book is well written, brief, easy to read and understand. Provides a basic history of rock formations throught the geological history of Teaxs.
