Keeps my roses black spot free

So, my lawn typically looks like a golf course during the early months of the year, I have about 1/3 acre of grass total. Then, during the hot months I get some large brown patches in various areas. It seems to be really bad if I have something wet placed on the grass for a day or so (e.g. blow up slide for the kids). It may appear to be a lack of water, but I have a fully automated irrigation system for my front and back lawn, so water was never the issue. This year, my lawn was super green, then we had a super heavy couple of weeks of water followed by some 100 degree days, then the brown came out really strong (see photo). After attempting to water more (since it looked like a lack of water), the problem only got worse.Finally, I did some research and found out about Propiconazole and brown patch (a new thing to me). I typically only use Milorganite for fertilizer, Ferti-lome for creeping charlie, and a pre-emergent in the spring. I decided to give this a shot to see if maybe there was a fungus problem, since it definitely matched my lawn's symptoms. I did the first treatment using this brand name product applying at a rate of 2oz/gal/1000 sq ft on the bad areas and 1oz on the less impacted areas. I saw some new grass growing in the brown spots after the first week or so. I bought a generic the second time around (at half the cost) and did the second application after 14 days (since this was early August, and a second treatment was recommended), and I saw really incredible results after a couple more weeks.The pictures above are exactly one month apart, one in late July, the second in late August. There are still a few patches here and there to fill back in, but I think that's really because the grass basically died out from letting this go too long, and it'll still take a bit to come back. This is a great product if you have a fungus problem, just make sure you apply it to the entire area and watch that it's not too hot outside when using it. The only reason I gave this product 4/5 stars is because I think the generic is the exact same thing at half the cost, which is definitely saying something since this is already an expensive product.

Finally I found something that actually killed the fungas in my lawn! I like to have the greenest lawn in the neighborhood but always get terrible brown patch late summer and fall that kills large portions of my St Augustine lawn. I have wasted way two much money over the last three years using useless products from local nurseries and hardware stores that just doesn't work. I finally looked online and found this amazing product. I could see the lawn making a major comeback in just a week and have already ordered another bottle for a 14 follow up treatment. I work very hard and look forward to pulling up to a green yard, just something I enjoy. This year I thought I lost most of the lawn with this terrible fungus we get mainly fueled by the clay fill dirt the builder used that has no drainage. I sprayed it with a pup up sprayed at a rate of 2oz per gallon and used the entire bottle due to the severity of the problem followed by a bag of Lesko fertilizer. It's been about 10 days and I am just amazed at the comeback the lawn is making, new lush dark green before my eyes. I will continue to use this as a preventative product. I battled lawn fungus this summer for the first time. I was at a total loss about what to do. I tried big box fungicides with no discernable results. I researched Honor Guard and decided to give it a try. My fungus issues were significant (I have about 36,000sf of lawn). Worse yet, I was hosting my son's wedding reception in mid-August. I applied Honor Guard at a rate of 2oz/gal, two applications 14 days apart. My last application was about two weeks before the reception. I also applied a 27-4-8 fertilizer and then watered like crazy. The results were amazing. Fungus totally gone and dark, lush, green grass returning. I received many compliments about my lawn. Lastly, customer service was amazing. I asked many, many questions and received great guidance. I hope to never have to use Honor Guard again, but it will be the first product I reach for if necessary. I highly recommend it. This stuff is strong and potent, to be sure. Be careful and use safety precautions.

This is an awesome product that really stops blackspot and other fungal diseases in its tracks. It is a comparable product to Banner Max, but Banner Max is at least $100 more. For me, I mix this with Mancozeb, a Bonide product, and spray it on my rose garden. Honor Guard controls the blackspot and other fungal diseases, while Mancozeb can work to get rid of your existing blackspot and fungal problems.When I bought Honor Guard, my roses were riddled with Blackspot. I spray this mixture every 10 days or so, now I am virtually blackspot free!I would recommend to everyone to follow the directions on the bottle. A little goes a long way . Make sure you spray in the morning or early evening, when the plants are moist and the sun isn't so hot, so you don't run the risk of the burning the leaves. It also helps to spray on the lightest spray setting you can and to shake off the excess spray.

This product was recommended on a gardening website "gardeningknowhow.com" for getting rid of black spot on roses. This was something that I have had a problem with living here in the South. It was recommended that you use the product once in the beginning of the season and once at the end of the season along with weekly spraying of a product called "Green Cure." I am happy to say that it looks like the black spot is well under control!
