I'm reviewing this after using it for nearly 6 months and I'm here to report that this is a very good quality kitchen essential which one should have. Just follow the first use instructions to make it usable and it gives good results for example the ginger garlic paste ground in this tastes way better than if u grind it in a high speed home mixer grinder

Loved this mortar and pestle. It slipped and fell from over 6 ft and landed on the floor but remained totally intact (I was lucky it didn’t land on my leg) I ground rice with water and it looked like kheer. 10 on 10.

Was very interested to buy to find out the taste difference in the making of chutneys.Curing and seasoning are the ones which are important to be done to make sure that the stone powder doesn't get created during crushing.Pros:Its very sturdy and strong. I bought the 6 inch one.Mortar is a good size with good width and depth.Cons:Pestle is very hard to hold for longer crushing time since the shape is like a cylinder (bottom of the pestle and the top of the pestle are same width). even with my big hands, its difficult to hold.Still the top corner of the mortar if rubbed against the pestle, it gives little powder from the stone.But worth buying if interested to crush using this method.

It's a terrible product, I have washed and crushed dry rice several times..yet every time I grind spices its full of muck and stone water, very very poor quality, have followed the cleaning instructions

This was an amazing purchase. Packing was very good, product was in good condition when received, fastest delivery by Amazon.Also followed the steps for seasoning of the motor given in the pamplet sent in the box by the Manufacturer. This Stone mortar & pestal turned out to be as per my expectation. Exact size as per specifics shown. Stone is very good quality as well. Very happy with this product as I have been searching for a very long time for this size..
