CHARMELEON Double Tiered Grill Gazebo 8X 5, Outdoor BBQ Patio Canopy Tent with Stretchable Side Awning (Brown)

I have a small outdoor patio in Hawaii, so I need shade to protect my plants and deck. My previous Grill Gazebo succumbed to rust and needed to be replaced. It was about 5 years old. This tent was way easier to put together. The instructions seemed easier to understand than the first one. The best thing on this is the awning attachment. It looks small in the picture, but it provides a substantial amount of additional shade. The only downside that I can see is the long top bar that connects the legs. It seems weak where the middle connection is (in comparison to my previous tent that had a metal reinforcement). It doesn't change my opinion on the product. Super happy with it. I just won't hang my planters in the middle of the bar that's all. I anticipate this will last me a few years and for the price and my plants, it's well worth it!

Wow. Super beautiful and super sturdy. You really can’t go wrong buying this. Using it for my new blackstone grill I bought in sunny California to block the sun as I cook. I love the way the visor can be lifted to extend the shade and when you close it it closes and helps block the elements from the cooker. It also has hooks to hang anything you want. I chose to hang my spatulas. Also it has on each side a shelf. Perhaps for your beer or plate of food you cook.Well worth it!

I have tried to find replacement canopies but can not find for this model. Can not find the fold down replacement canopy at all. Update. This is basically a throw-away product. The frame is good and sturdy and it would seem as if by purchasing a replacement canopy, you could get years of service from the product. I have made many attempts to reach the provided customer service department without success. You can not purchase replacement canopies for this product. So, when the canopies are done ( a little over a year for me) , toss the entire unit.

This is a great product. Reasonably priced. We are calling it a garage for the grill. The only drawback is that you will need two people to assemble it, and possibly two more to attach the top section to the bottom section. It seems very sturdy. Easy to put together. Everything labeled. For once even the directions were easy to understand. I have mine placed on the apron of the driveway. Will put each of the legs in CMU blocks and add sand or gravel for added weight. It really keeps the sun off you while cooking and the shelves are great.

I really like this shelter. Unfortunately, after I opened it and was in the process of assembling it, I noticed 2 of the corners had significant dents. Since it was already partially assembled and I figured with photo evidence I could just get the 2 parts replaced, I continued the assembly. When I contacted Amazon I was advised I would have to package it up and return the whole thing. Taking this thing down and repackaging it would be a huge job, so I’m just living with the dented parts. SO, if you get one, open immediately and inspect the parts! EDIT- I'm upping to 5 stars because the seller reached out and sent me replacements for the damaged parts. They were very fair with me. The product is quite nice and I get lots of compliments on it.

I was super excited to get this product as my patio gets a ton of direct sunlight which can make grilling unbearable. I got this and put it together pretty easily, the instructions were simple to follow. When I put it together it looked good but felt a bit flimsy. Then a week after having it we got back to back days of rain, I just happened to be working from home, and I looked outside, the rain was collecting on the roof instead of running off, I ran outside to push the water off but it was too late one of the metal bars in the main tent area had already bent and is on the verge of breaking, I was able to take the roof off so that the water does not collect anymore , however the awning roof you cannot just take off, I dumped the water over and over but I could only stay outside so long, and later in the day the awning bar bent in half. The gazebo is ruined after 1 week and is now and eye sore. I would only recommend if you live somewhere that never gets rain. The roof is no longer intact as one of the arms has totally broken off. Save your money do not but this product. The seller will pretend to care for their rating but do nothing to make you whole.

Assembly of the gazebo was easy as long as the instructions were followed. However, I highly recommend having a friend to help as it can make the job much easier. The additional fold-down awning is low and could be a problem for someone who is 6 feet tall. To avoid this issue, I suggest building it up on the platform as shown in the picture I took.When you're not using the gazebo, it is important to fold down and secure the extension order awning. Otherwise, rainwater may accumulate on the extension and cause problems with the entire structure. I also recommend anchoring the legs of the gazebo into the cement for added stability.

I use this as a canopy for my miter saw stand. It looks great. I love the extra canopy which protects against the rain when it's down and against the sun when it's up. It was really easy to assemble; I did it by myself, although at the end, some help might have been advised, I managed without.
