Tachikawa - Comic Pen Nib No.3 - G-Type - Pack of 10

Beautiful finish, great quality

Received 3 nibs as described. Flexible and gives thick lines under pressure. Feels a tad scratchy. But i guess we need to get used to it. I used 150gsm rough paper. I am not sure how this nib can be used for calligraphy. I cant use this nib to glide around randomly. I make discrete strokes in one direction and build up the sketch.

Excellent for beginners and for daily practice.

range of line width is great. From 0.1 mm to 1.4 mm. whether it is scratchy nor not depnds on 1 paper, 2 how much you press, 3 how you move when you press. I don't know yet which paper is best but I noticed feathering when making thick lines as it will lay down lot of ink.

It is very fragile, or maybe i am using it wrong, but it doesn't seem long lasting
