My cat actually loved these. She started licking them and peeled sections off. My issue is she would try and eat the tape and make herself sick. This seemed dangerous, so we removed what was left. They did stop her from scratching my furniture, but just caused another problem.

Do not leave it on your furniture for a long period of time!!! I bought this to stop my cats from scratching the sofa and after awhile once it had lost the sticky because it is now covered in hair and is no longer sticky. I decided to remove it. Once I did it left a sticky residue on my sofa. And worst part is I have it all over my sofa. I spent so much time trying to wipe/clean/soak/peal/scratch remove the sticky residue left behind from this product. I only have 1 side of my sofa clean.... all that effort and still have 3 sides to go. I wish I knew that it was going to leave behind that much or else I would have never put it on my sofa... I can’t imagine what my carpet by my door will look like once I remove it.... now I’m scared that it will coast me more money to fix this mess.. I was better off letting the cat scratch the carpet and the sofa then deal with the mess this product leave behind.

This stuff works. My kitty used to jump and scratch door frames since the moment we rescued her. No matter the discipline given, she would still do it- even in the middle of the night. And that was nails on a chalkboard sounding. I put this on and she hasn’t touched the door frame. It’s easy to cut and customize and a perfect way to protect my home and my kitty from potential injuries. You can’t tell it’s even there unless you touch it yourself. Highly recommend.

I needed something to stop my cat from starching my couches. These were easy to put on, and so far it’s completely stopped them! I haven’t even see them try to do it! It’s the first time I’ve had to use anything, but this seems to do the trick! It was delivered quickly and they even threw in some stickers, that were adorable! Give these a try, I’m glad I did!

I put these on my new couch as one of my cats liked to try scratching and if you cut it smaller than the piece provided, it’s hard to peel off the edge otherwise, it worked to keep from my cat from scratching the areas i put the double sided sticky tape but it is annoying if you get stuck to it when sitting on the couch. Eventually I did remove it so hopefully my cat won’t go back to scratching but when removing it, it also took off some of the fuzz of the couch fabric so not sure which is worse.

I purchased this based on good reviews. It’s a nice big piece to cover a larger section. I was able to figure out how to get both sides of the backing off, so both sides are sticky. However, it worked on one side of my couch and not the other (😳???) and not on my chair. I’m guessing this would work better on furniture that is not as textured as mine, or is fuzzier than mine are. On the side that it did stick, before my kids removed it not knowing what it was, it did deter the cats from scratching. I just wish it stuck better to last.

this stuff works to keep my cats from scratching at my door frames and stair rails. It sticks really well and stays up no problem. I hope it will come off easily when I'm ready to remove it.It's very sticky on both sides, so it can be a bit difficult to get it situated correctly. I have wrinkles and bumps, but that's ok. It will still do the job.My package arrived two days late but that is not the fault of Amazon or the seller. We had a snow storm.

Cat is not scratching the furniture. Unfortunately the plastic is visible, not sure that is something that can be fixed.Haven't tried to remove it yet. A little bit difficult to apply if you cut the sheet as you lose the little tag.
