NASA Space Shuttle: 40th Anniversary

There is another book “Space Shuttle: A Photographic Journey” which is a far better book on the history of the space shuttle program. My biggest irritant of this book is that the captions to the picture is in the back. Very irritating to have to keep switching to the back to see what the pictures were. Not worth the price of the book.

The Space Shuttle fleet stands for the dream of space travel. Unfortunately the Space Shuttles were too expensive and too dangerous. The author writes about this dream from the early beginning to end of the shuttle program.

This is a stunning book. The included images are absolutely beautiful if you are interested in space shuttle history
