I always keep at least one of these cables on hand. I end up needing a cable occasionally and these work great. I get multi-gig speeds, the color and length are good and so is the build quality. The color options, price and availability are also good. I know how to make these cables myself, but I'm not as good as a robot at crimping and maintaining twisted pairs, even with my nice crimpers. That's why I prefer pre-terminated network cables like these.

I purchased this to have a longer cable for my work telephone and it works great. The cable is thick and easy to use, stiff at first but seems to be smoothing out.

I needed a short cord for my modem and router after the one my ISP gave me was super long.Searched a lot of places for a good value for size choices and this one worked the best.Feels sturdy, works well, and doesn’t look all jumbled up like the previous long cord did.

I needed a short ethernet cable to daisy chain two 5 port switches in my home office. SImply said, this was a cheap solution and it works great. One down-side is that the cable is not as flexible as I would like but I can live with it

I use these for patching at a medium size company. They are reliable and have nice, rugged insulation. They are somewhat stiff, but that hasn’t been an issue for me.

I have purchased StarTech products for many, many years. To me, they started out as a no-name brand, but over time I've found that every piece of "tech" I've bought from them has been really well-made and works extremely well. Not one of their products that I've used has been unreliable or not done the job I bought them for. Many of their items I believe are the best on the market. Yes, their prices are often a bit higher than other's products, but I know when I buy a StarTech device or item, it's going to be excellent quality and will be working for many years to come. An easy way to upgrade your internet if you are using old cords. Good length to hardwire a smart tv, even though most of those are throttled.
