A Must Read!
I found this book to be very enlightening. The author compares foods served in restaurants and foods sold in grocery stores so we as consumers can make the healthiest choices. He explains what some of the ingredients and additives are in the different foods and brands (some are absolutely disgusting), and lists the best ones to buy, so we can cut down on bad fats and excessive amounts of sugar and sodium. After reading this book, you will definitely want to stay away from many of the bad offenders.

Good Information but heavy on fast food choices
This book offers some good information on switches to make, and I was shocked at some of the choices I thought were healthy but were actually not!I only gave it 4 stars because it leans heavy on fast food and not so much on food you can purchase from the grocery store. I avoid fast food at all costs, so only 1/3 of the book had information I could use.

Interesting read.
While this book has a lot of informative information it is also a rather common sense book. Much of the information given in book about processed foods and preservatives can easily be found online without buying the book. I did find it puzzling that he listed certain restaurants as having bad foods and good foods while most are left out. I'm sure he couldn't list them all and just gave a few. So surprised at foods at restaurants that were compared with others. What a shocker!I wouldn't recommend this book to others.

Wish he would do an app on eat it best and his eat this not that series

Fabulous Food Guide for health conscious people.
This is a great companion book to the Zero Belly Diet by the same author. The author goes into great detail to educate the serious reader about the benefits and pitfalls of the foods which are on the menus in the more well-known restaurants in this country, and he is not afraid to call them out on their menu items which are prejudicial to our health. He also provides guidance on those items on restaurant menus which are healthy. This is one of those books which I can see myself using for a long time and I have already had the opportunity to recommend it to my family and friends.

I have 3 other books including sugar shock, but this one is really my favorite because it is simple to understand & it tells you what food to buy in a very easy way. I will even bring the book with me to the supermarket.
