I ended up buying 2 of these sets very good value

The items are OK but the picture shows them full of salt and pepper. What a disappointment to get them as empty jars then have to order the contents separately.

The best thing about these grinders is they store with grinder side up. My existing, much more expensive, branded, condiment grinders go back in the kitchen cupboard with the grinder to the bottom and as you will know over time you end up with an annoying patch of salt and pepper underneath or like me have to use an extra tray underneath taking up up unnecessary cupboard space. This store grinder up - problem solved! Design is nice and they look good. Bought as a present, so I cannot comment on longevity.

Not overly keen on these grinders. Quite large. Does not grind the salt and pepper very finely.

Just received my order which cost £6.99For this, I assumed I would be receiving two shakers, as it says in the main description '1 Set'Just be aware that '1 Set' really means Qty 1If I looked at the photos, and ordering options just below the main description, I would have understood, so I guess it's my fault.Message to the supplier - Change the word 'Set' with 'Quantity' - saves confusion!That aside, the shaker is of good quality, I have just filled it with Himalayan Salt (Other salt varieties are also available lol), and it works fine, and the price is as would normally expect to pay for one anyway :)

Both grinders worked ok when they arrived although the coarseness adjusters were a little stiff.First problem came with the second batch of peppercorns, which were bigger than the first, and required the adjuster to be slackened right off and the grinder to be shaken to grind the corns, which resulted in very coarse ground pepper.The pepper adjuster had now become very stiff. I managed to ease the it off and saw that it had stripped the thread on the centre shaft. I recut the thread on both and it now works again but still won't fine grind the pepper properly.I then tried to adjust the salt grinder and the adjustment thingy snapped clean off - either salt had jammed in the thread or has caused some corrosion that had locked the adjuster to the centre shaft.If you buy a set I highly recommend recutting the thread in the adjuster insert so it's not so tight - M4 tap.The grinders were outside their return window but Amazon refunded the cost without question.

Had these grinders before but must clean them more often as my last one seized up when i tried to make the salt one more course and the spindle snapped off making it useless. Dont get me wrong these are great grinder for pepper corns, sea salt and presume they would work well with mustard seeds too.
