These aren't going to be my everyday shoes, so they should hold up just fine. I immediately swapped out the white flat laces for a pair of shoe-matching Taupe Tan round laces from Birch. They look so much better and make these shoes look a lot more expensive than they are. To me the white laces made these shoes look so cheap.I chose Taupe because because I don't do white shoes and also am partial to the color, these shoes should go with pretty much anything casual and "smart casual"

I had read good things about this sneaker and purchased the "white" version. It fits well and is comfortable. HOWEVER and a big issue for me is the sneaker is beige/ivory at best no where near white in color. So, if you are looking for a truly white canvas sneaker, this is NOT it but if off white is not an issue you will find this a good value and comfortable.

New Republic isn't exactly known for their quality. What they are known for is their price for the quality in what you receive.As a fan of their products (purchasing both these Canvas sneakers, and their all white leather sneakers) I can confidently say that you won't really find much better for the price you're paying.These are $30-$35 dollar shoes, you should expect the comfort level of a pair of shoes within the $30-$35 dollar range. However, these look great on feet, and are lightweight enough to walk hours on end while looking great.I buy 3 pairs of these at once to just use as beaters. Wear them for 4-6 months, get rid of them and start a fresh new pair without hitting the wallet too hard.

I usually buy size 9. This shoe fit ok but felt a bit smaller than my other shoes. The quality of the materials is good.

These shoes have a real quality feel to them. They are a perfect, snug, fit and look and feel great. Really pleased with my purchase!
