MJX F645 F45 C4002 Aerial Camera by Meijiaxin

I purchased the C4002 Ariel Camera at the same time I purchased my MJX F645 F45 Helicopter from Amazon. I was interested in the added functionality of aerial video and still photography so I could get a "birds eye view" of what my helicopter could see during flight.The product comes nicely packed and simple to open and install on the intended heli. A simple removal of the canopy, and attaching the power cord to the open spot on the heli I was ready to attached the helicopter to the designated spot on the bottom of the helicopter. There is a small mounting tab that locks the camera into place and then is securely fastened with the two included screws. total installation took roughly 4-5 minutes.As listed in the brief product description a 1Gb micro SD card was included and is plenty large enough to record video of an entire flight. If you are interested in recording multiple flights without deleting files you may prefer to use a larger SD card. I tested a 4Gb card also and can confirm that it did record as desired.There is a small switch on the side of the camera to allow switching from still photo to videos, and is easy to operate. Other reviews have stated issues with this switch breaking. While the switch does seem somewhat delicate, it does not require much force to toggle the modes and should last as long as care is given while switching. My intended use was primarily for video, so I did not see this being much of a issue anyways.The camera is easily activated from the helicopter remote. A small red LED on the camera gives positive feedback that the camera is active and in use while using video. When takig still picture a photo is taken each time the camera button is pressed on the helicopter remote.Picture, video, and audio quality in my opion is very acceptable for the price. The quality of both video and picure are low, but I felt this was to be expected in this price range. If HD quality or high megapixel is what you are looking for, you would be better suited with a camera designed for those results.Helicopter battery life is slightly decreased while the camera is in use, but I felt that I was still able to fly a comparable flight time with or without the camera in use.Overall I am very please with the product and would recommend to anyone who owns or is looking to buy a MJX F645 F45. I have other helicopters that do not have camera functionality, and this is defiantly a enjoyable perk. It is fun to see the vantage point of your flights, and crashes (oops).

Very happy with this camera and very surprised at the quality of picture. It is actually an SD 4X3 25MBPS AVI Wrapped, Motion Jpeg Video at 30fps. It also includes one mono channel of PCM audio at 256kbps, 48K. It doesn't have a wide view, but the footage I got while flying my MJX around the park was impressive for what this thing costs.

There is a little switch that changes the operation from camera mode, to video mode.Just looking at it, right after opening the package, I broke it in 1 sec.That tiny little switch is very small and fragile ... be carefulNow I`m faced with taking it apart, and fixing it in only one position... hope that works.

This body mounted camera was made just for the F645/F45 Heli. A button on the controller turns it on and off remotely. There is a side switch that switched from movies to pictures. (switch is somewhat fragile but once its set you usually don't need to change it. Good picture quality on both movies (with sound) and pics.

I can't give a good/bad review but can tell you this. It is made for a specific heli, and for us" not knowing beginners", this cannot just be hooked up to any RC Heli. It is a 3 wire 3 prong plug that goes into the main board. No instuctions on what wire are for, so I was kind of screwed. I have a LED plug on my main board (Propel CloudQuest), What my intent was to see if it could mount to the bottom and if not (double side tape it to the bottom), Then i was going to unplug the spot light on the front of the chopper, and plug in the camera. (Since the right top botton on RC turns the LED's on and off) I thought i could use this to power up the camea and shut it off.. For those of you that are not Familiar with all this electrocic Accs. they sell, this feed back is for you. So I would not purchase this for just any RC Heli. For those of you that knew this already, call us dumb @#!s, but it would have been nice if someone would have posted this before so we would have known. I know it has a few F645-F45 C4002 on the top label, but I thought it was the model # for this package. Now thinking. If this heli that can use this camera, and has a camera jack, why don't they just sell that model with the camera already installed? After reading some of the reviews, I am now understanding some of the questions such as "How do you turn on and Off" Would be nice if Amazon would make sellers give more BETTER detail on the product they sell. AND THIS IS NOT JUST REGUARDING THIS RC CAMERA!!"EVERYTHING". Hope this helps someone! : )On closing, I have no review on what the outcome of Pics /video would be. Hear good/okay/bad and blah blah blah (REVIEWS), but this is just for those who may be misunderstanding what this camea can be used on. (Note: It doesn't even tell you the voltage needed for the camera either. I thought maybe about buying a seperate battery pack) Learn off of my shipping charge and save your money if your heli does'nt support this camea and has camera board plug.

You will be surprised about the capabilities of this little camara and the ease to atach to the helicopter. My only issue was the card reader. I would give it five stars, but the included card reader stop working the second time I used it, so I went and bought another card reader and no more issues. For a 20.00 dollar camera, dont expect HD resolution and the more light, the better. Im very happy with it.

This Camera was extremely easy to install and worked like a charm. I would say you could have it installed in under 5 minutes. Be sure to follow the instructions regarding it's use though. If you don't you could end up losing a video. The instructions are simple though. So no worries there.

Camera was easy to install, instructions easy to understand. The memory card does not stay in well in the camera, first hard landing knocked the card out. I did not recognize this until my flight time was complete, no video taken.After using it for a few months, the USB reader does not read it properly. Constantly disconnect/reconnects itself, camera stopped recording full video. For the price, what can I say.
