PP200, HA1000 Hot Surface Ignitor Kit, Desa Heater HSI

I used to fix a couple ready heaters of my own then my buddies found out had to fix theirs it's always usually this problem or clogged fuel filters very quick easy fix I buy several of these to keep them on hand very quick very easy to change if you have a salamander or a ready heater that won't work get you one of these you'll have it going in no time, but make sure you got good clean fresh kerosene in it as well:-)

Naw, just joking. If you have a diesel/kerosene torpedo floor heater that won't ignite, this may be your answer. Previously, the igniter probe was flimsy and broke very easily. This one is not. I have an old heater that came from the TWA overhaul base in Kansas City that burns any grade of jet fuel, helo fuel, and any grade of diesel or kero. I had bought a flimsy probe from a heater dealer and saw this one on Amazon. Took the flimsy probe back and plugged this one in. Works great

The igniter I ordered did not work however I will be testing with mill meter this evening to be sure it's the igniter itself and not anything els if igniter test is good I will give it 4 stars for a 2 day deliveryUpdate: after lots of reading, learning and head scratching the culprit of my issue was my circuit board was fried. The seller was persistent and urged me to do a thorough inspection upon doing so I found the igniter worked just fine but the bad side is my board will need replacing.

Wasn't the same one in the picture. But heater still dont work so not sure if it's a ignition problem or what

I was fixing to toss my heater until i came across this part. When I hit ignite, my fan would engage and presume to spray fuel but it was not igniting. After installing this, it fires right up within seconds!

Works perfect no problems machines still run in today I would Recommend to anyone looking for one
