Nintendo DS Star Wars Lightsaber Stylus 3 Pack

My 11 y/o received this Star Wars Lightsaber stylus pack in his stocking for Christmas. When asked his three favorite gifts, this was one of them. He is a Star Wars fanatic and loves anything Star Wars, especially lightsaber related, so this was just perfect. The stylus does not fit all the way into the DS storage space but my son doesn't care. You will not enjoy this is you do not love Star Wars. Any Luke and Anakin Skywalker fan will love these. I gave it five stars because my son LOVES it.

We bought these as a gift for my son's friend. His friend had really liked the Star Wars stylus set my son had which came in a two pack. When we received these we were surprised to find they were alot smaller than the ones we had. Not sure why the difference but would have preferred the bigger set. The styluses are neat and do light up so the size is my only complaint.

These are a lot of fun. It looks like the manufacturer paid fair attention to detail. I was actually expecting it to be made cheaply, which I would have been fine with, but the quality is pretty nice. Unfortunately the title, and even the picture of the packaging says Nintendo DS - HOWEVER It works for the Nintendo DS light, and NOT the Old DS, so I couldn't use it. It does mention that it is for the DS Light in the description though.

These were so CUTE!!! I bought this for my son and nephews. Nice quality, sturdy material.

I'm kicking myself - because there it is - on Amazon's page - these won't fit into the Nintendo DS stylus slot on the back. Wish I would have noticed that sooner - as cool looking as they are - I probably wouldn't have bought them.I'm also a little miffed that the packaging says it's specifically made for the DS Lite - which clearly it is not.What's the point of making a stylus like this if it doesn't fit? I can understand making a big "hard to loose" stylus - but it's like they got almost everything they needed to do to make it the right size - and then just cheaped out at the end (handle). They even went so far as to make a little nub that sticks up like a regular stylus - but it's not even close to where it needs to be to fit.Perhaps they couldn't offer the level of detail they wanted if they made it fit into the stylus slot. However, I would have been happy if the stylus fit snugly into the opening - and then had a portion sticking out - that would have been fine.As it is now, it's just waiting to get lost. And I definitely won't be buying this product again.

When I bought the lightsaber stylus pack I assumed they would be able to fit in the regular stylus slot on my DS. Unfortunately they cannot fit and after about three weeks of use the paint is beginning to wear on the handles. Appearance and size aside they work just fine for a DS stylus.

Love these styluses, they last as long as the regular styluses if not longer (if you don't press super hard). The only problem I came across is there is no way to keep them in the DS's slot of the stylus. The hilt of the Sabers block the ability of the saber's insertion into the DS stylus slot. I got around this by tying a ribbon around the hilt of the lightsaber and then put the ribbon thru the area where you could have a hand strap if you wanted or not. This way my stylus could be inserted into the slot and if it fell out it was still attached to my DS via the strap and/or strap slot.

I absolutely loved these sadly i lost em and i doubt id buy em again for how expensive they're !! mainly just cause i lose every stylus i own ! so yeah it was a sad day when i lost these ! another amazing thing besides the looks is how the saber seats in the ds it makes it easy to use and put back its a lot better than a plain stylus in my opinion !

Guter gedanke aber leider schnell verlohren da sie nicht in den Stifthalter vom DS gehen auch ist das Plastiksehr Hart und man hat schnell wenn man zu feste drückt Kratzer auf dem Display haben Ja benutzen Nein.

les stylets ont une superbes prise en main, seul bémol il ne rentrent pas dans le compartiment de la DS.Cela ne les empêchent pas d'être emmené à chaque déplacements de la console

Good fun for the kids, I knew they didn't fitinto DS for storage, but they are just as spares.Kids love 'em and have since bought for presentsfor school friends. Will purchase from this supplieragain.
