This is a good book for intermediate level piano player. Good for warm up or enjoyable playing.

Beautiful pieces and not too challenging

Our son (8) was asked to get this by his piano teacher. Arrived today and the music is as quiet and uninteresting as possible. Disappointed. It sounds like sad background music to a pointless walk on the beach. There is no rhythm to lean into, no theme to repeat or identify, nothing that inspires interest or a reason to open the book again. And the 8 year old hasn't even opened it yet—those are the adult opinions.Piano teachers out there: pick exciting music to inspire the kids please!
