Excellent product at an affordable price point, having owned several Moultrie, WGI, and spycam trail cameras over the years I can say this is a feature rich easy to use trail cam with great night vision and the screen makes it easy to review pictures without having to bring a laptop outside. Will buy again for other properties in near future!

I've had this first unit for 8+ months now and my expectations were outdone with the picture quality and durability. Since day one I've left it outside 24/7 the whole time from -10 winter temps to now 98 summer heat 12' up a tree to catch trespassers in my back woods and it was totally water tight. Recently the first unit stopped working so I contacted Alpha Cam and they immediately replied asking for some reasonable info to prove purchase (KEEP your paperwork people !). After that they quickly sent out a new replacement and a return label for the old one. Totally happy with customer service and this purchase. I would not hesitate to buy another one from them. My only concern is I hope the next gen model may have a better battery length of life, BUT I did use the still pic & video option the whole time so that does use up your batteries.

I took this camera and set it up in the backyard to test like I do all the cameras I buy. I think for $70 it is a decent buy. I liked all the features and that the camera is very customizable. The body of the camera and the strap seem to be built well. I do wish it had a time-lapse setting, but i honestly don't use time-lapse with many of my cameras so it will work fine elsewhere. My biggest problem with the camera is that it makes a very loud click when switching to night mode. I know from experience that the deer will start to go around a camera after a while if they hear it. I'm going to just list what i found about the Alpha Cam below:-trigger speed was good; it caught me near the middle of the frame every time it took a picture.-trigger range was interesting. it caught me every time out to 60ft. but after that it was on and off. i got it to trigger twice at 105ft which is well past what they advertise.-the flash was very bright; it showed things well all the way out to the full 105ft.-picture quality was sketchy. The daytime photos were good, but the nighttime ones blurred anytime there was motion, which makes it a pain since deer are always moving.

Really like my new Alpha Cam cameras. Videos, photos, trigger speeds and flash are really good. I'm not sure yet about battery life as the cameras have only been in the field for a month. They have been through several hard rains and are completely dry. Batteries and SD cards are easy to access and setup wasn't difficult.

I like this camera it takes a nice clear pictures and videos see example photo. I like that the the animals cant see the light and the lense is wide angle . I can't say for battery usage I buy cheap batteries I usually do 2 pictures and a 25 sec video the night triggers use up more juice cause of the lights. I needed to read the instruction book for set up thought I knew what I was doing but it was different then my other camera's set up..Would buy again !

I purchased this trail cam in August 2023 and in only 3 months, it is having issues. Every night, the camera resets the date to January 2020 despite being updated to the correct date and time. Though the camera is set to take 3 pictures and 1 video, it does not work properly. If there are 200 pictures take, there might be 2 videos.I have emailed customer support and received no help with these issues.I also purchased the insurance offered through Amazon, so I filed a claim. Asurion told me to contact the seller, buth Alpha Cam does not have clear support information provided. There is no email. There is no phone number. Their "support" website offers PDFs to download but no representative to connect to. Very frustrating.As a result, I would NOT recommend this camera. If you have any issues, it seems almost impossible to get support from this seller.

I bought this camera to replace a one-year old camera from another vendor. This camera provides very sharp images both day and night, I like the option on how often the pics are taken (nobody wants 200 pics of squirrels having lunch). I also want to say that I have no issue removing or replacing the SD card, seems easy enough for me.

Been using a few weeks now. Very solid, good coloration, blends in real nice. Animals and people are oblivious to its presence. One feature that I think would be nice to add, would be a Bluetooth connection or a phone port. When you're in the middle of the woods trying to align your camera for the best angle, you have no way of seeing the current camera view. You have to take the SD card with the photos on it to your reader to see what you've recorded. Then realize your viewing angle is too high/low/left/right. Go back, readjust, and do it again until you get it right. For me it took 3 trips home and back. I ended up bringing my laptop in the truck with me to save the trips home. The ad states that you can view/preview, but you have to open the face to see the display. The camera lens is on the face, so it's not pointing where you want it to when viewing, it's actually pointing backwards. A quicker way of getting a sample photo or view would be great. That said, it's still a great camera.

Received product on time and as described, looks sturdy.I have not got a time to test in the field but had tried on my balcony in sun and rain.Takes pretty good quality pictures and videos.Not sure if the trigger time is same as advertised but I am happy with product.Thanks,

Very little experience with Trail Cams but I'm quite pleased at this time but only used em for a few weeks at this point.
