Hand Crank Dough Maker

The longer you work the dough (maybe 10 ish minutes) the better the texture of the dough. Use melted butter over oil. Clever device, glad I got it

I was a skeptic when I saw this, but I wasn't ready to spend hundreds on something else. It's pretty simple, but be prepared for a upper body workout. My only issue is I had someone else hold it down while I turned the wheel. The first bread came out great.

I love this invention. I use it all the time to make my bread. There is , also, a very good recipe on the side of the bucket for a loaf of bread that is fabulous. You can make your bread without getting your hands doughy. Let rise in the bucket and work it down again before putting it in your bread pan to do its final rise.In the past, I have bought several for friends and for my two daughters as gifts. I just bought another for me as a spare. I highly recommend anyone to try this product. Thank you for your invention. It is easy to store away and does not take up space like a bread machine on your cabinet.

I've tried this several times and had frustrations all the time, specifically with the kneading unit...hard to put on, slips around in the bucket and does not knead completely. The good news, though, is that this whole experience has inspired me to keep on trying on my own!

I wanted something small and easy to use to mix flour and yogurt in order to make rolls that I've come to enjoy. The idea of this mixer was good. The price was reasonable. It fits in the dishwasher on the top shelf or can be washed by hand. It's easy enough to store. My main complaint is that it does not remain stationary on the counter when mixing. It slides around, making it difficult to knead the dough without having someone else to hold the plastic bucket still. It would be much easier if there were suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place. Otherwise it kneads well, as long as someone is holding it while you are turning the crank. Otherwise you have to keep moving your hand so that you can hold it still and crank simultaneously.Additional review: I had this for 2.5 months; have used it 4 times. On the 4th time the black plastic from the turning handle flaked into my bread dough. It is too late to return it now so I guess I wasted $50 and am now ordering a different mixer.After contacting the seller I received a quick reply and was issued a refund. I am very impressed with this seller and appreciate their attenrion to this matter.

Purchased on 24 Sept 2023. I'm a novice when it comes to baking. I have used this dough maker 15 times or more. It is a manual dough machine and does require some effort to use. But the results I have achieved with this machine are waist changing. I finally decided do write a review as I just finished making a dough and I am excited for some homemade bread. This machine works.

I purchased my EZ DOH Bread Dough Maker quite a while back but because of health problems it just sat waiting on me to decide to use it. Well, I have now used it and I give it high marks. I have wanted to start making homemade bread for a long time. I did not want to deal with a heavy mixer or a bread machine so I decided to try the EZ DOH. I liked the idea that after putting in the ingredients as directed, I could actually sit down with the bucket under my arm and knead my dough. I started my dough and took it kind of slow and careful so as not to have me be a cause of failure and not the EZ DOH. I think my first two batches worked well enough to call it a success. I can't wait to buy more supplies so I can make more bread. There is nothing better that the smell of homemade bread.

I have owned my EZ DOH since 2014. I used it quite a bit and it works very well. Somewhere along the way, I decided I needed a KA mixer to mix my bread dough. As it turned out, I hardly ever used for my bread dough. I hardly used it at all. I went back to my EZ DOH to mix my bread dough and it is so much easier and better for me. No electricity required. I read some of the low ratings and I can attest that I have never had an issue with mine...after 8 years. For me, this product was/is worth the money.
