At work I often use a face shield but they are the type that have glasses frames to wear them. It’s incredibly uncomfortable as someone who already wears glasses (like wearing two pairs of glasses and it looks ridiculous). I wear two masks and earphones and everything keeps falling off and all the pressure on my ears gives me a headache.I love that this style of face shield has foam where it touches your forehead and an incredibly comfortable and large sized elastic strap. It’s easy to get on and off and when you aren’t using it, it returns to being flat so you can put it in a bag without being awkward.The only downside is the text at the top of the shield. So far I've used the shield 3X. It's comfortable, after a while I don't notice that I have it on except when I try to put my purse over my head or take it off when it comes in contact with the bottom of the shield. So far as sheerness, I have no basis of comparison. It is light weight. I don't notice it on after a while. I did notice once when I had walked around pushing a wagon at Sam's Club, going here and there, that there were what looked like droplets of sweat(?) on the upper left corner which caused a little discomfort for a while. Other than that, I've had no problems so far. With the vaccines soon available, I feel the shield gives me an extra layer of protection Hate to get covid now!!!

The face shield arrived in a timely manner and I wore it through the airports and planes. The only problem I had was peeling the clear covering off the shield. There were no instructions provided. I had to hunt for online information that first, told me there was a clear covering on the shield to begin with (and that it was on BOTH sides), and 2, how to peel it off because it wasn't easy to find the spot that starts the peel. The shield worked fine, but when they say it's good for only one use, believe it. I put it for my return trip and it fogged up, so I threw it away. However, it was comfortable and easy to pull up in order to eat or drink. My life would've been easier had their been instructions.

We've been struggling to wear our face masks almost full time.We tried this shield and were extremely pleased by the comfort and protection.It is extremely comfortable, light weight and sheer. The clear plastic gives you the feeling that there is nothing there. While I was around the kitchen mine got a few smears on it as I brought food up to my mouth forgetting that there was a shield there. If you are getting weary of wearing a mask give this a try. I think you like the comfort and protection.

A decent shield, serves its purpose. Not very durable but will do.

My disabled Mom asked me to purchase us face shields, like these, to go over our actual masks as an added precaution and barrier against COVID-19. Neither of us leave the house unless it's necessary and, unfortunately, her monthly pain management specialist is necessary - so I bought the additional protection. I chose this pack for 3 reasons: 1) It came with multiple shields & we could share with my younger brother. 2) We have very little funds & it was in our price range. 3) A decent amount of people gave it a high-star rating.The moment we got them I pulled one out of the air tight wrap it came in and placed it, gently, on my head after removing the protective film placed on both sides of the shield - as instructed. Prior to this I put on a disposable mask that simply wraps around the ears, then I stepped outside to see what it would be like in the sun; indoors it seemed good but the true test was daylight. Simple right? I didn't even have my hair in a ponytail and I have a small head, I'm only 5'2 and roughly 120lbs; in other words the strap had room to spare but I didn't attempt macgyvering a fix for simply standing outside our front door. The moment I shut the door and took roughly 10 steps to be fully in the sun, the strap broke with a snapping sound and fell off my head. Immediately I went back inside, telling my Mom it broke while handing it to her and grabbing a new one; she discovered the white "clasp" or "button" like part that attached the strap to the visor had completely snapped off without breaking anything else. I repeated the first attempt and went back outside. This time it didn't break but I quickly discovered several problems: 1) The sound was very muted and I didn't hear an approaching neighbor coming up behind from down the stairs; that's alarming and dangerous in itself. 2) The light reflecting from the sun and nearby objects made it very difficult to see. The shine was so bad that the top 2 inches (eye level) reflected deep blue from the forehead cushion and product label (which doesn't come off, although I didn't try removing them either), the next 2 inches was a blurry light-blue (a little below eye level) and the remaining was either purely reflective of nearby objects or fuzzy; this section was only viewed if I looked at the ground or lifted my head while looking down my nose. 3) When I called my Mom to see if she could hear me, she heard nothing until I put the phone on speaker and then placed the phone under the shield. Beyond all of those very detrimental issues my last "complaint" seems ridiculous but it's still prevalent - this is NOT one size fits all and there is no adjustability. Now, if that was the only issue it could easily be fixed with glue, bobby pins, sewing, staples, paperclips, etc. but, alas that was the least of our problems.I never give bad reviews. For the most part I find a lot of "complaints" are personal problems people have rather than factual reviews about a product; simply put - they find an issue where one doesn't really exist... expectations. However, these aren't opinionated issues/complaints I had but actual structural, health and safety problems. The whole world is in a financial crisis, we're all (hopefully) trying to stay safe (protecting ourselves, those we love and one another) and I don't want anyone at risk because I kept my mouth shut.Stay safe everyone!P.S.. I bought these for my mom and dad, and they gave me one from the order. I liked it, but it’s especially nice for her because she is on oxygen. She doesn’t have to deal with multiple cords over her ears. She also likes it when going to church because she can say The Lord’s Prayer without feeling muzzled.I was going into the post office and had to go back to the car to grab a mask. I wore the shield instead and it was so nice. I didn’t feel smothered.

Much more comfortable than a mask! Arrived earlier than expected. Works as described. Will buy again if needed. I must wear a mask at work. I can't breathe with a typical mask that covers your face and nose, so I want to try it. I took it for two 3-hour practical exams while wearing it, and it worked very well! The plastic is easy to see and works well. Wearing a mask is also very comfortable and convenient!
