iGreely8mm Extension Cable 10Ft 3M DC 8mm Cord Compatible with Jackery Goal Zero for Solar Generator Portable Power Station and Solar Panel 14AWG

We bought these so we could have our new Jackery Explorer battery on a shelf (a few feet above the ground) but pul the two SolarSaga solar panels up on the roof where they get more sun.But the shroud on the female 8mm receptacle on these cables does not allow the Jackery SolarSaga cables to plug in!My husband used a Dremel tool to cut away the shroud, and now the panels can plug into the extension cords. But out of the bag, they simply do not mate - so if you're unwilling to cut back the plastic preventing the plug of the Jackery panel from fitting into the socket on the iGreely cable, you cannot use this product with you Jackery panels.Since it was pretty easy to remedy, and the cables work fine once everything is plugged in, I'm giving this 4 stars. But I bet a lot of Jackery customers will give this a 1-star review, since the stupid thing just plain does not fit (and so no power at all gets to the battery).This may be due to a change in the dimensions of the cable-ends on the Jackery cables. So maybe iGreely used to work with previous models. But our brand-new (April, 2021) SolarSaga plugs simply cannot mate with the recessed socket. So there you have it.

The quality of the cable is fine, but will not connect to the 8mm male plug on the Jackery SolarSaga 100 solar panel unless you modify the rubber sleeve on the female end of this cable. The rubber sleeve on this cable, which I assume is necessary for keeping water out of the connection, is too small and will not allow the male counterpart on the Jackery SolarSaga 100 cable to fully insert. I Had to cut away part of the rubber sleeve on this cable in order to extend the length of my Jackery SolarSaga 100 solar panel cable.

This is a near perfect 8mm extension cord, robustly made, nicely packaged, and works.I bought this for my two Bluetti Maxoak solar power stations. Bluetti isn’t quite clear what plug size to use, but after some investigation I figured out it was 8 mm. There are all kinds of comments that you can’t just buy one off the shelf, but I contacted Bluetti and they said any 8 mm will work. And this one worked. I’m pulling 120 watts from my solar panels into the solar power stations with this extension cord.I give this product an unqualified 5-stars.

Using this with a Rockpals 100w folding Solar panel (new version) and a Jackery 500. This cable gives me an additional 20 feet to work with to find the ideal spot for sun. I did have to do as the other reviews said and use a razor blade to trim down the plastic female end of the connector. Once done, was able to plug and get 67w charging to my Jackery. No loss in input power from use of the cable. Love it!

This is a backup tool for my solar panel to my Goal Zero Yeti 200 Lithium battery bank. I don’t use it all the time, as the battery bank is in a good position for a usual cable, but I have used this in the past when I wanted to move my battery bank father from my fully mounted solar panel on the roof of my van.For the extra sense of security, it’s worth EVERY PENNY! I have an additional portable solar panel that sits outside of the van when I use it to charge up my other battery banks, and it’s great for while I’m working in the shade but I’m using the solar power to keep everything charged up. I’ve even used it a few times when my van is parked in the shade and my mounted panel isn’t pulling as much from the sun through the shade.

PROS-The latest 20-foot rendition includes an adapter that solves the problem of needing to trim the shroud of the female end of the cable-The latest rendition DOES work with the Jackery 1500, despite the cable has a small center pin but the 1500 requires a large one. You have 2 options: a) plug the 20-foot cable into the small-to-large pin, 1-into-1 adapter that comes with the 1500 b) plug the 20-foot cable into the small-to-large pin, 2-into-1 adapter that comes with the 1500CONSNone so far

iGreely 8mm Extension Cable is a DC7909. It fits the inputs in the two "Jackery Solar Charge Adapters" that are typically included with the Explorer 1500. The iGreely fits tightly and seems to be well made. It is made from 14 gauge copper wire. It will allow me to keep my Jackery protected from possible weather while my solar panels are still out trying to get some sun. No trimming or cutting was required. I might order a couple of longer igreely cables in case the pane;s need to be placed farther out in the yard.

I was able to connect two different Rock Pals folding 100W panels into my Jackery 500 using both their “Y” connector and their 20’ extension. It will only allow 85W input but when the sun is diminished by clouds, trees or SMOKE 🥺 you can still get a full charge going in to the unit. Using the “Y” connector and the extension together allows me to leave the Jackery in the truck and out of the sun. No issues with the plastic everyone is complaining about. Some snap in place and others just slide right in. Hope this helps.
