UPDATE: Not a 100 piece pack. Only 50. :(
Update: After writing my first review I reached out to customer service who was more than happy to send me another set to assure that I get the full 100 pieces. The second shipment arrived the next day and actually had over 100 pieces. The 100 piece set seemed to have a LOT more cheap ones than the 50 set did. But overall I am happy with this product. Thrilled with customer support though! Makes me love amazon even more!Description said that this was a 100 piece set. It's only a 50 piece set... A couple of then area ratchet up and damaged. Most of them however look really good!!! I would rate this five stars had I gotten the 100 pieces advertised instead of only half...

CHEAP! IMPOSTER!! RUN!!
Omg, these buttons were horrible. Usually, if I can't give a good rating, I typically wouldn't submit a review; however, I felt compelled to help others not fall prey as I did. These buttons are all cheap plastic that little kids play make believe with. There is nothing positive that I can say about this heap of junk. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for the mere trickery in your false advertisement. I'm completely shocked because I have never felt so cheated as I do now. Please everyone, do not order these buttons if you're looking for variety and good quality because there is none where these buttons are concerned. OMG, this is utterly ridiculous!!!

Very disappointing
This is a really disappointing button assortment. None of the interesting ones from the picture were in it and the ones that were included are incredibly cheap looking and feeling. These are cheap, lightweight plastic that feels like it would break incredibly easy(which is incredibly disappointing considering these came up in a search for metal buttons) Two of the large ones don't even have any kind of button hole on them so I'm not even sure how I'd use them. These would be okay for some cheap crafts product but I can see actually using them as buttons for anything. It's not worth it. If you want a good assortment, I have no doubt there is a lot better out there.

Great for a Variety of Reasons
These resin “buttons” have endless possibilities: I haven’t executed any ideas yet because I’m sick & I’ve been feeling sicker than usual due to the humidity. Because with a number of the pieces, mainly the ones with the blue faceted large rhinestones, the rhinestone part can be pushed out of the frame from the back (pushing the threading handles on the backside of the piece, making the frame flat. If you add a 14mm cabochon with your own or pre-made image to the frame, it’ll snap right in. Since the back is now flat, you can use it to make snap button jewelry, glue to a slide charm bracelet for instance, make earrings & other ideas: using materials such as rhinestones, glitter, or even Fimo if it would be beneficial. For those who are familiar with casting molds & making molds, you could remove the faceted blue & create a mold of them, & same goes for other pieces of this button jewelry. Most of the pieces that don’t have an option as far as change in design, the buttons could be kept on or you could fill the molding container up until you reach the backside of the button, or fill up until you reach a millimeter or two, and even they can give you a better option. I have a ton of ideas for these; I’m merely having a bit of trouble executing those ideas right now. Once I’ve worked on a couple I’ll post the pix.

No variety
Very disappointed.. not only is there no variety what so ever.. there was only 40 buttons most of which are to big for what I needed them for! I was excited by the variety of the picture and there was absolutely no variety in this pack.. not sure if it’s a fluke or a bad bag but disappointed to say the least..

Nice variety
I purchased the gold and silver pack. Admittedly, I didn't count them, but I'd bet my bottom dollar there's not one hundred buttons. Also, they're not metal; they're made of plastic. Other than the discrepancy in quantity, I like them. It's a nice variety of 1/2" and 1" buttons. They are shank and sew-on buttons. If you need pairs/multiples, this won't do. The pack contains mostly singles. Some of them are really cute.

For what it is and the price you cannot go wrong.
OMG the sheer number of buttons in the package for the price is incredible. In stores just 4 of these buttons are $5!! I gave up on my idea of including buttons in my work until I saw these! Great quality buttons too. Update: I wish I could give these buttons 6 stars because I am ordering them again and I last bought on Nov 30 2017 So Just about a year they lasted me. I use them to make jewelry and they are excellent and they make my so-so piece into a wow piece. I see people think that they can have enough buttons of one kind for a shirt or something. Who ever said it would? I wish people would buy wisely and not wrongly assume things then leave bad reviews for people who are just trying to make a living. For the price do you really expect several matching buttons? And the quality cannot be matched for these prices. These are comparible to anything over priced button in Hobby Lobby.

worth the price
lots of people are complaining about specific buttons shown not being in the pack but getting a variety pack to order your obviously gonna get different ones coming from a factory. overall they’re plastic and kinda cheap but nicely designed. over time they will wear and break but for the price you really can’t beat it. i got some single buttons (no more then one of that kind) that aren’t pictured and i’m actually happy about them. variety packs are like mystery bags you’re not always gonna get the same thing! and dear reviewers it’s wrong to give a one or two star on a product because it didn’t specifically work for you and your use for it. keep it to yourself unless the product is performing faulty

Majority of buttons not gold/silver
The image displays a very good selection of mainly gold, bronze and silver buttons but this is not what you get! The vast majority of the buttons in this pack were the same design and mainly black, cream or white with a very thin gold rim. Approx two-thirds of the pack therefore went straight in the bin. Very disappointed.

Nothing like the picture
Got something completely different. It’s not even a proper packing. I buy buttons galore/ dress it up buttons all the time but their buttons are not like this. It seems like they just sent me a bag of junk buttons.
