This was a horrible waste of 100$The directions are incredibly hard to follow, they hardly make sense and they jump around without giving you step by steps. The mold hardened MUCH faster than the instructions said it would and before I could get it covered with the plaster strips it was already clumping and falling off of the body. Seriously within only a few minutes. (I used distilled water as instructed, it did not work it just clumped up) This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my partner and I had nothing to give them because it just came out in a million shattered pieces because the mold did NOT work!Very unhappy because it was ridiculously expensive and I got literally nothing from it. May as well have thrown my money in the trash.

Simple to use

My wife is having breast surgery. I love her breast only less than I love her. I ordered two of this product, just in case. I read the instructions no less than 8 times. My conclusion is they have a terrible alginate product. They gather all this cheap stuff together and send you the worst product that matters most. We tried once and the alginate went from liquid to solid. No problem, I had an extra set. We learned from our mistakes and came up with a new and improved plan. My plan was not the problem is was there alginate and misleading instructions. The second attempt was a failure also because of the product.Do not buy this product. They do not deserve your money. They ruined my hopes and dreams of casting my beautiful wife's chest. I will forever be angry at this product and it's sellers.

UPDATEI reached out to the seller (EvironMolds LLC) and I explained that we didn’t expect the process to be so difficult, and that we don’t have enough time to have them resend us more of the product we botched - and they’re making it right. It turns out that the temperature of water you use is extremely sensitive (76 isn’t close enough to 72 it turns out) so please keep this is mind while using this product, and leave yourself plenty of time to have product shipped again if needed because you just might need it.I still feel their instructions could still be improved, but I’m very happy with the business for making it right - thank you!——————————————————-My wife and I studied the instructions the night prior to attempting the procedure, spent a decent amount of time prepping and rereading the instructions, only to fail miserably…My wife has breast cancer and has a bilateral mastectomy scheduled next week, we were hoping this would be a way she could hold onto something that’s being ripped away from her.Instructions were inconsistent with “helpful hits” that were contradictory. For how involved the process is, the instructions desperately require modernization, like videos on:1. How to mix the MoldGel, if you’ve never done this before then 1 minute to mix the product might as well be 10 seconds.2. How to handle and apply the MoldGel.3. How how and when to embed the Mohair into the MoldGel.4. How to cut and handle the plaster bandages.5…and so on!Sending out a wordy 9 page instruction manual with translation errors and inconsistencies is not enough diligence for a process this involved and this costly in 2022.I’m very disappointed in how this turned out - I wish would have tried to experiment with a small portion of the product before going all in (following the instructions) and ruining the only chance we had at this.Do better.

The molding harden in less than 7 minutes couldn’t apply it before it was lumpy. No instructions in box, had to go to the webs site. We did find Easy to follow instructions on the amazon order pageTerrible, do not waste your time and money on this productFind an alternative

Product started to harden while I was mixing. Ridiculously difficult process for someone unskilled as myself

Title is verbatim from the poorly written and seemingly unfinished instructions included with this kit. Next to no instructions on the MoldGel included (including no information regarding how much to use or how much was even in the bag included) so by the time it reached “the consistency of thick pudding” as instructed, the mixture was already setting and it was too late. No mention of the mixtures changing color or even the very vital temperature of the water was in the instructions. Very disappointed in how poor the instructions included are for such an expensive product. Reached out to the company, and may change this review if they respond quickly but at this point I would not recommend this product, even to those familiar with other forms of casting.
