but I'd hate to spend this much money for something so trivial
Product is okay but doesn't give as much privacy as I'd want it to. It darkens the screen but I can brighten the screen somewhat to help compensate. The problem is that the person next to me can still see the screen. I believe this filter only gives 60 degree viewing whereas the 3M brand claims to give 30 degree (which is better). I will give that one a try, but I'd hate to spend this much money for something so trivial. The other problem is that I intended to put the filter flush against my monitor, which I did, but I had to use the transparent double sided tape they gave to help keep it flush. But I can see the tape throught the filter and it's a bit annoying. If I don't put the tape in or near the center, then the filter doesn't stay flush. It did stay pretty flush and this filter does do the job, it's just that I'm looking for a more perfect solution and a filter that gives a smaller viewing angle. Go figure, as monitors get better and better viewing angles, I'm actually looking for a worse viewing angle (for privacy).

Not very private at all.
This privacy screen does not provide as much privacy as I would like. As I tend to had a lot of private employee information on my screen, I purchased this so that I could work in peace without having to lock my screen every time some one came by my desk. The screen is still readable by other people, it's just a little more difficult to do. I was hoping that it would be more like the screen protectors at the banks. On another note, the screen tends to separate itself a little bit from the screen making it harder for me to read. It's starting to become an annoyance. I'm going to try the 3M version of this screen to see if it's any better.

Easy Peasy
If it protects from that much radiation, etc, it will be great for folks like me who work in front of the screen most of the day. It installs easy on my monitor, the perfect size. For older eyes (I'm over 60) it makes the screen significantly darker. And as it is advertised, it still shows out at about 60 degree angle. I like that this just fits in the screen area, so for now, I set in place, or use the convenient arc out area to dislodge it with a finger and move it if I need clearer view for awhile. Now to try it on our public monitor (it's in a library) and judge reactions...

Immpossible to use
I am sending this back, after 2 days of trying to make it work, it continues to separate from the screen and completely fall off. It was flat when I took it out of the package and put it on the screen, but over several hours started to curve outwards, I even tried flipping it around and it had the same issues. On top of it not staying on, when it was against the screen it makes it so dark that it gives me a headache working on the computer. This is way too expensive to have these kinds of issues, and was a COMPLETE waste of money.

An exact fit!
Product was precisely as advertised. So often it is hard to get a good fit for these products, however this filter was the exact dimensions needed. Also, the packaging of the product was sufficient to stand the rigors of shipping to Alaska. A long way for a package. The item arrived with no damage. We are very satisfied with the product and this vendor.

Works fine at preventing peeking and prying peepers!
The screen protector works very well, especially with my job being in Finance and having to deal with several client's confidental information being exposed constantly. It allows me to work as normally without the risk of prying eyes looking at someone else's debts and etc. if I were to step away from my desk for a moment. You would have to sit directly in front of the monitor to view the screen clearly.Very nice.
