It should be too soon for this joint supplement to be helping me to this extent. I've only been taking these for about 7 days or so (3 every morning after breakfast), and I didn't expect my knee pain to recede yet; however, I haven't had ANY knee pain in my very arthritic 62-yr-old knees for the past couple of days. I haven't had a pain-free day for well over four years until yesterday afternoon, which is when I started to notice improvement. Today I walked up three sets of stairs without any pain. I normally couldn't get up 2 stairs without having to stop and figure out how to get up the stairs (shift my weight, go up backwards, whatever). I have terribly arthritic knees, and yet... !This is kind of crazy, and I keep thinking this must be a placebo effect. The reason I think it isn't placebo effect is that I was hoping the pills would help my also very arthritic lower back, and I don't detect any benefit there yet. But come on, it's only been 7 days. It should take another 15 days or more before I notice any change for the better.So, I'm hopeful. But for those of you who have simply given up, I might encourage you to try this for a month. I will come back to this review and update it after (a) my back consistently feels better, so that I can at least lie down in bed without major pain; or (b) a month goes by without a change for the better in my back. I really hope my knees stay like this. wow.good luck!UPDATE 4/2/13 -- It's been another month since my initial comments on the surprisingly soon and equally off-scale results from taking 3 pills every morning. At this point I have to shout to you, if you're in pain from your arthritis, to start using this. It's extremely affordable, and the results have been far, far better than I dared hope initially. I am now able to get up and down stairs without the white-hot needles of pain in my knees. To be sure I still occasionally experience a twinge of discomfort, but this has turned back the clock at least 7 years for me, back to when I didn't have to worry about getting up stairs.The problem at this point is remembering that it no longer hurts me to climb the stairs. I can stop avoiding the stairs now. I hadn't realized how much avoidance I had built up over the years, how much I batched my trips to reduce doing stairs.As for my lower back when I lie down, I'm able to completely go without pain pills at night now, whereas two months ago I took two strong Tylenol just to be able to turn over in bed at night. Now, I don't need pills to turn over. My lower back still gives me discomfort now and then, but I'm not an invalid now.
