3M Fused DC Power Cable for Mobile Radio Kenwood PG-2N TM-281A TM-D700A ICOM OPC-1132 IC-F1721 IC-F2721 IC-F5061D Yaesu FT-7800R FT-1807 FT-8800R

I was hoping this cable would fit the TYT TH-9000D UHF momobander, but no luck there. I does fit my TYT TH-9800 quad bander and TH-7800 dual bander. I can always use a spare for a backup power supply or the second vehicle.

The wire was a lighter gauge than OEM though probably adequate for the job. The way most of these harnesses are made is with the fuse holders very near the start point of the cable and furtherest away from the radio itself. That causes issues when you want to shorten the wiring as to requires cutting and soldering the wiring. Considering the extended length of this one, almost everyone would want it shorter. The fuse housings were light weight. I probably would not buy it again.

Snug fit connector. Heavier gauge would be better.

This worked perfectly connecting my Kenwood Ham Radio to my truck’s electrical system. Fuses are included and the T connector allowed for plug and play with the wires on the back of the radio.
