Wild: Wolf Ranch, Book 2

This writing duo has sure blown past my expectations with this second book in the series. Why yes, I am already anxiously anticipating the next book. I really fell in love with these characters, from the one-night stand to the HEA they kept me on the edge of my seat. The sex scenes are as steamy as I have come to expect from these ladies, and the emotional turmoil and angst when the hot alpha male thinks he knows what is best for the little lady. This book is one that is going to draw you in and leave you wanting more. I really fell in love with these characters and I hope we get to see a bit of them again in the next book. No matter what, it will be one that I come back to again to relive this wild ride.

If I thought Rough (book 1 of this series) was hot, Wild totally blows it out of the water! This book starts out scorching, and just gets hotter! These two authors have found a way to combine everything I love in a romance, and made it even better!Colton has dedicated his life to being a soldier, protecting his country and his fellow soldiers with the enhanced abilities that come with being a shifter. Now, those same abilities are making it hard for him to reliably do what he's always done. Things are changing, and he has some big decisions to make. A trip home for his brother's wedding seems like a good time to think about everything. Until a crazy down pour throws a monkey wrench into his plans!Marina and Colton had an amazing connection, right from the beginning. But lack of communication almost destroyed them before they really got started. While Colton had good intentions, he almost made some really detrimental mistakes. And Marina wasn't honest with herself. Had she been honest with herself, she might have avoided a lot of heartache! Overall, this was a steamy read, and I can't wait until the next book comes out!

The first book in the Wolf Ranch series – Rough - was excellent. Somehow, this one, Wild, is even more exciting! It is packed with nonstop action, passion, energy and emotion. I read this incredibly quickly because I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. It was really well-written so the pages flew by.Colton and Marina are hotter than hot together! Beyond that, the plot was solid. The conflicts Colton faces regarding his future are very real; he is at a crossroads with his military career and has to decide what path to take, while balancing the needs of his family and his extenuating circumstances. Marina embodies conflicts of a different type – coping with having a father who doesn’t really care about her, uncertain about what she wants to do in life, insecure about who she is. They are so different from one another, yet perfect for each other.I read a lot, but I never read a shifter romance before this series because the concept seemed too strange. Well, if the authors can figure out a way to write 50 books in this series, I will order every one of them. I am already looking forward to Rob finding his mate – he’s on the edge of moon madness already - but the groundwork appears to have been set for him. I can’t wait for the next book!! Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose individually are wonderful authors. Together, they make magic!

A Wolf shifter having to keep his hands off his newly found mate until she matures a little more. Game on... I like when an author jumps into a story. No long set up just...bang! you're in the story and you’re addicted. This story hits the ground running and keeps up the sprint. There’s enough steam, action and mild drama to keep you invested and your fingers turning pages. In her limited experience, 21 y/o Marina is accustomed to guys loving and leaving. She’s been made to feel insignificant and unimportant her whole life. She accepts it. With her insecurities, she’s learned to guard her heart because nobody sticks around. When she meets Colton Wolf, she’s immediately smitten. And with one whiff, Colton knows he’s found his mate and immediately wants to claim her. I loved this second Wolf Ranch book. Colton is every woman’s dream and Marina has such a cute, perky personality. I think what I liked most of all though, was how well the author conveyed the emotion of both Colton and Marina. Not how they felt about each other, but the turmoil Marina went through was executed perfectly. And the trauma Colton experienced fighting his inner wolf and the guilt of doing the right thing for Marina was believable.

Wolf Ranch - Wild by Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose is the second book in the Wolf Brothers Ranch series. This one did not disappoint and I enjoyed reading it. The story and characters were well done and the sex was hot and off the chart. These brothers sure know how to pick their mate. Even though this is a second book it can be read as a stand-alone with no issues. I congratulate Vanessa Vale and Renee Rose for another terrific book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Colton Wolf is another of the gorgeous Wolf brothers and shares the same “characteristics”as his brothers . A Sergeant Major in the Green Berets Colton has to decide wether to sign up for another tour of duty but now he’s on leave going home for his brother Boyd’s marriage to Audrey . Miriam is Audrey’s step sister and is making her way from LA where she’s in university studying engineering to the wedding . Problem is that both of them have been caught in a storm and decide to spend the night together at a motel ,although Colton gives Miriam his name she doesn’t give him hers. As we know with these Wolf boys they’re not the usual run of the mill boys and in an instant Colton knows that Miriam is his mate . After a wild night ( and I don’t mean the weather ) together and whilst Colton is in the shower ,Miriam makes a fast exit and heads to her destination when Colton finds out she run out on him, he’s non too pleased to find her gone, Imagine his surprise when he arrives home to the farm and discovers the girl he’s spent the night with there . As with the last book it’s very sexually charged & intense in places with a lot of angst as Colton tries to resist her but it seems the “Fates” have their own agenda . It does lead to a beautiful ending 😍😍.............Rob ( the Alpha ) story is next and something tells me that they’re going to have some trouble with their pesky neighbour Jet Markle .

No plot spoilers.No potential triggers.OK, so, book two in the series. It might as well be book one with different names. The characters are one dimensional, I truly couldn't have cared less about them. The FL is so sugar sweet I felt sick, the ML is a Green Beret with so little awareness he would have been killed in basic never mind in action.Seriously there's no plot and a backstory that's so thin it's virtually threadbare.It took my mind off the everyday stuff for a little while, there are some editorial errors too which made me mad when you consider the book isn't cheap.There are some sex scenes, there is some swearing and there are elements of BDSM and DD/LG so if you are prudish don't buy the book and if you do but still leave a granny review then shame on you.I would not recommend the book.

This fast-paced, steamy and emotional romance is definitely worth a recommendation. The chemistry between these two ripped up the pages, and stole my heart along the way. This book sucked me right in and wouldn't let me go! If I didn't have to sleep, I would have finished it all in one day! This was a fascinating mix of swoon, sexiness and heartwarming feels. You get feels. You get intense chemistry. You get ups and downs. You get everything you love and want in a book. This series is just incredible and is getting better with each new book that comes out. Happy reading everyone!!
