Five stars because it smells like real pine. You'll need to screw in eight (8) screws (the tip on the included Phillips screwdriver broke as I tightened the last screw). No instructions in my box, but you can figure it out from the product shot. Plain jane, but sturdy. (No plastic, and no cheap particle board, which is rare at this price point.)

It's a little cheap but what isn't these days. It's solid enough to hold paper and that's all I need it to be. It was easy to set up and doesn't require a million screws.

As other reviewers have stated, there are no instructions for putting this together, which is a major oversight because it’s not super clear when you look at the pieces. Like others, I came back here to look at a photo of the shelf and figured it out.I like how unassuming this is, the natural wood without veneers is nice to look at and I didn’t want a cardboard or plastic one, so this suits me. It’s not huge, and it stores lined paper, plain paper, and training (little kid) paper easily.

The wood was warped, so there are gaps and the pieces don’t slide in and out. Would consider keeping it if there was a way to buy extra shelves. Overall, construction was easy. It came with directions and a screwdriver.

No frills yet perfect for what I needed, feels so good to get organized

It fits on my desk good and does not take up much space. It was kind of hard to put together and I figured it out. Instructions were clear. It is great to have to separate papers and to keep organized. I can store paperclips in a jar on the top plus a pencil holder and a stapler so I know where they are at, and I don't have to look for them. It was a good purchase and I like it. Maybe will paint it at a later time to give it some color.

After looking high and low for a sandpaper storage case, I finally bought 2Becko Wooden File Organizer Paper Sorter File Sorter units and made my own. The unit has solid pine sides and back, and the shelves are pine faced-MDF. The sides are solid wood so they were a little bit warped, but it didn't impact construction. Rather than use the supplied screws for the back we assembled everything with hot glue. This allowed us to eliminate the need for the top and bottom cross pieces, yielding 2 additional storage areas at the top and bottom. With 2 purchased units and cutting down the smaller case to approx. 6" x 6" shelves, we had almost enough wood for the entire case. Some of the smaller shelves are actually half pieces (cut to 3" x 6") and we were 2 small shelves short, so luckily I had some spare plywood in my shop and cut 4 additional half-pieces to make up the difference.

Poor quality,

Mine came with a screwdriver and an instruction sheet which made it very convenient. It was easy to put togther in 3 steps. It's not fine funiture, but it's functional and keeps things in my office neat and tidy. It could be painted or stainded very easily before assembly to match any decor. Nice!

Great storage unit. Will be very useful for my crafting dies. Very easy to assemble. Comes with instructions and screwdriver.The only thing I'd ask is, are any more boards available to fill up all the grooves.

I think I submitted a review on this product...I'm writing again because of a new experience of the purchase.That is customer service via email. I sent an email to ask if I canbuy (sliding) boards but no reply.Since there are 6 empty shelves, there are a good chance thatthose empty ones become necessary.Since no reply, I made myself, spending about 80$ and 3 hours...

This is ok, but that’s about it. I’m sure it will do it’s job for one or two pieces of paper but I dare not put too much in as I fear it might collapse under the weight. The build itself is pretty poor, one side the holes are perfectly lined up but on the other the holes are about a mm out so to get it to line up yo almost have to hope the screws pull it together. Well that’s what I did and although it is together the (super flimsy) wood has cracked on all three screw holes lucky it’s not something I will have on display. As tbh I would send it back. It’s a cheap product and you get what you pay for. Just!!

On its side, we put all the boards in to keep things tidy.
