Food by Fire: Grilling and BBQ with Derek Wolf of Over the Fire Cooking

This book is a bbq lovers bible. The care and love Derek has for fire cooking is evident throughout the book. What I love about how this book is put together is that he dedicates a lot of time and pages to sharing his knowledge and experience of fire cooking, it's not just a recipe book. It's a journey in fire cooking. And it is produced so well that I have it on my coffee table.

It's hard to find a good cookbook based solely on bbq and open fire cooking with proper instruction, background and detail. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to cook with fire, smoke and charcoals. Hats off to Derek Wolf 👍

This cookbook is absolutely phenomenal! Extremely detailed with step-by-step instructions with colored images. This book brings outdoor cooking to a whole new level! The recipes are simple, yet incredibly delicious. This cookbook has quickly replaced all of my other grilling, smoking and fire cooking books put together. Derek Wolf is the real deal. This is a purchase worthy of every penny spent on it.

Great recipes

Every single recipe that I have tried from this book has been excellent and have become a regular meal during the week for us.They are simple and for the mostpart use ingredients that you would have in your kitchen -- the instructions are easy to follow and I find that although this is recommended for "over the fire" cooking, they work well too in oven/pan!Highly Recommending! PS: seeing recipes on youtube channel are a good gauge of how end products can look!

Really nice book, great recipes, gives you a good understanding of cooking over fire, or coals. I have a solo stove and bought a cast iron grate for the top of it and purchased this book to give me tips on how to cook over fire. very good book
