This was a gift for someone. It is very nice & sturdy. The blue paint looked nice. Nice design. The only thing I would caution would be, if you are intending on pinning up something that is thick, just know that the burlap-like backboard is very thin, so the pins can only penetrate so deep. Otherwise, I’m happy with my purchase!

Had a ton of old wine corks saved for years just to make a corkboard. This shadow box type frame worked perfectly. The corks fit perfectly and are jammed in tightly to use the ends as a surface to stick pins into. So far the frame hasn't come apart at the seams yet! Crafty useful project.

I purchased this 11x14 shadows to lay flat on the table with stuff in it - and it works just as I had hoped. You have options for glass or no... and it is quite sturdy. I am very pleased with the purchase and I think it was a good price too! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. It seems hard to find an 11x11 shadowbox that's reasonably priced and well made. Glad I found this one! Very nice and was perfect for my project. It was well packaged for secure shipment.

If you want a true 8x10 frame this isn’t it. My pieces of 8x10” papers were too big. It fit the outside measurements. Do not buy if you want to fit without cropping your images.

Real wood isn't completely smooth, but it's not acceptable how they covered the holes and scratches. The first one I received had what looked like white-out covering the imperfections in all 4 corners. The pictures are of the second one I received. There are still the same coverups, but at least not in the corners, so it's not as obvious. I don't have time to play the "how many times do I need to order to get a good one" game, as I'm creating this shadow box for a gift. I will have to fix it myself. The frame otherwise is sturdy and beautiful, but NOT worth the price.

Frame, glass, linen inside all good, if I had ordered a distressed looking frame. Which I did not. I specifically ordered the black frame. What I got looks nothing like the finish in the photos the seller put for the ad. The frame I got is painted in some horrible chalky mat finish and had some edges scraped off. But it doesn’t look purposely distressed; it looks like a really bad paint job with the wrong paint/stain and then someone kicked it around the warehouse for “funsies”. Maybe if this was only $20, I would repaint it myself, but for $40 I expect a lot more.

I needed a safe way to hang a porcelain plaque since I live in an earthquake zone and this was perfect. There is a lot of space on the box. The tacks were pretty useless for me but I have a wall hanging kit and was able to secure my item with it. The screw screwed in petty nicely to the piece. It hangs securely on my wall and acts as a little mini shelf.

Package arrived with box badly damaged, luckily inside item box survived the beating. The frame is ok, but not the best quality, nor is it sturdy. One corner is apart. I have decided if I will keep and try and fix it myself, or send back. Considering that, not worth the money.

The product itself is very nice. The instructions on how to use it were very clear and it looks nice.The packaging could be better. One of the frames was damaged on the corner as the packaging consisted of thin bubble wrap and a thin cardboard box.

It's suitable for my needs, but it arrived with one of the corners coming apart. It's too much hassle to go through the process of returning it for a new one, so I fixed the corner.
