Not only does this blanket work well as advertised, but it has some other secret features that make it even more amazing. I initially bought this to keep me cool throughout the many sweltering nights. My sleep improved greatly despite some random side effects like difficulty moving or my bed being soaked in the morning. However, I noticed something interesting happen to me physically in the long term. As time passed, many people around me started showing signs of aging, yet I somehow kept my youthful appearance. My friends and family all asked me how I could look way younger than I was, and I had no answer for them. However, I found my answer with this blanket. The blanket creates a block of ice encasing me inside, keeping me cool while also stopping the aging process, and keeping me looking young and energized.

The media could not be loaded.  During the wintertime, my wife likes to keep the house a little warmer at night than I do. So in the interest of marital harmony, I decided to give this blanket a try, using it in combination with the comforter I normally use. Not really sure of the best way to combine the two covers, I tried all four possible combinations for at least two nights each way. Here's what I learned:Combo #1 - blanket UNDER comforter (i.e. next to me), shiny (nylon/polyethylene) side DOWN: VERY cool at first, but the temperature rose pretty gradually over about an hour to the point where it was definitely hotter than the comforter alone (which makes sense, as the comforter acted as an insulating layer; the heat absorbed by the blanket pretty much stayed under the comforter)!Combo #2 - blanket UNDER comforter, shiny side UP: started off at a pretty similar temperature as that of the comforter by itself, then rose a bit over about 30 minutes to the same level as Combo #1. Again, not the solution I was looking for.Combo #3 - blanket OVER comforter, shiny side UP: this was the definitely the hottest! After about 2 hours each of the nights I tried it, I was sweating and couldn't take any more!Combo #4 - blanket OVER comforter, shiny side DOWN (as in the video): THIS was the method I was looking for! After about an hour, the temperature was clearly cooler than the comforter by itself, but not SO cool that it was uncomfortable. I'd say that the level of cool stabilized after about four hours.Since finding the best solution for my needs (Combo #4), I have been sleeping more comfortably than I ever have been able to during my 15-year marriage to my heat-loving wife! It is no exaggeration to state that this blanket has changed my life for the (much) better. Moreover, after my experimenting with it, I'm certain that it will work (as advertised) to keep me comfortably cool in the summer as well!One final point (also mentioned in the video): because the nylon (cooling) side can be really slippery on fabric, I've found it useful to secure the corners to my comforter with safety pins. This is not at all a bother; in fact, the safety pins help me make my bed in a flash!I think you'll find this blanket to be well worth the money.

I love this blanket. My husband and I each have our own throw size. I also have the matching pillow case.The cooling size reminds me of under armor material, sort of like workout clothing. The other side reminds me of jersey sheets, or a comfy t-shirt. The stitching and edging are high quality and made to last.My husband bought his first the beginning of may. I came down sick with fever and stole his blanket while he was at work. This blanket brought so much comfort and relief. I ordered one for myself right away.If you have dry skin…. Such as hands and feet, the cooling side has a tendency to catch on to you. Of course lotion remedies the problem. The best way I can think to describe is, sometime microfiber cleaning rags have a tendency to catch on your dry skin. It’s the same thing happening. -1/2 ⭐️I’ve owned mine since May 28. I’ve washed a few times. I dry on medium heat and it does fine. I have noticed a couple of pilled spots on the cooling side. This could be from my dry heels on my feet, or one of my cats catching it with their claws to climb up my bed. I’m not sure which yet -1/2.⭐️It does in fact have a cooling effect. It does absorb your body heat, so at times you may have to move the blanket and it quickly becomes cool again. In fact, now that it's august, our house is feeling pretty cold with the a/c averaging 74-76. It makes the blankets too cold for both me and my husband. We enjoyed them the most so far June and July when the house was averaging 77-80.I think it folds easily and has a good weight. It’s definitely heavier than a sheet. Both sides feel good on the skin.I’ve used it cool down my lab when she was overheated from a long walk in high temp and humidity.I’ve recently folded my blanket and placed on a nearby chair in my bedroom. I’m no using a Kantha blanket to get through the rest of the summer. Great blanket, feels very nice on the skin and not warming so great for covering during night in warm weather

Enjoying my blanket so far. It’s almost cold to the touch at first in a very refreshing way, but settles into the right amount of cool after a moment. Thin, but feels like enough cover. Haven’t tried it with other blankets or a sheet yet, but think it will work well. Oh, and I haven’t washed it yet either. If I have issues, I’ll update this.
