Serendipity
I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would. It touched my heart, particularly the last half of the book. In the beginning, the author familiarizes you with characters you're made to think are good people, and other characters you don't think too much of, but as it continues, you realize that it's actually the opposite. I found it a bit of a fairytale like but in a good way. By the end of the book, you're made to realize people are made of all facets; those that seem good are only good on the surface and others that seem questionable usually have many good reasons for the way they are, and people shouldn't be judged too quickly.

Life
Was a great story about growing and seeing how things are not how you wish they were, and how to rebuild you life

The past is prologue
I really enjoy how this author rallies around the women's strengths. Despite tremendous trauma and discord in their childhood, the character's ability to move forward. I also appreciate the authors idea of how men contribute in a positive way. The fact that all of the important characters liked the four puppies and were animal lovers was just a plus.

Serpendipity
Fern Michael’s has done it again. It’s a wonderful story with a lot of ups and downs. You’ll be rooting for the ending to produce a smile of satisfaction.

UNEXPECTED
As with all books by Fern Michaels, the story takes us on unexpected paths. I was so anxious to find out the conclusion..and never did I expect what happened. Another great page turner.

Revenge never satisfies.
This account of a sad life moved so slowly that I struggled to to keep the purpose in focus. I applaud Ms Michael’s talent with words and the turn of a phrase that probed into the minds of her characters. The details are great in bringing scenes to life. When reading about the snow storm that was such an impact on all the characters, I couldn’t get warm enough and pulled Afghans around my shoulders to continue reading. As the plot moved ponderously forward, my disappointment in the selfish defensiveness of every individual grew. This was a portrayal of the destruction of unforgiving revenge wasting life in the pursuit of payback. Not a hint of redeeming grace in a sad, sad world.
