Yes, this is an excellent product. It is slightly bigger than expected and I was kind of hoping I could take the griddle pieces off but it doesn’t matter as cleaning this is quite easy. The cooking aspect of it is brilliant and I can’t really find fault in it. It heats in no time and not only can you cook great tasting toasters, you can use it for bacon, sausages etc (vegetarian of course).. another thing; it can stand up which makes it good for storing on the work surface, but it is quite tall so make sure your kitchen sides aren’t in the way when opening it.

Brilliant & so easy to use! Perfect for paninis, toasted sandwiches, bacon, & lots more. Bought with my teenagers in mind for lunches. Used daily in our household! Well worth the money. Sturdy, easily cleaned & easily stored away!

Pros: compact, light, easy to use, quick heating, quick cooking (a burger is well-cooked in 4 mins), tasty healthy results.Cons: non-removable plates make the cleaning uncomfortable/complicated.Tips: Tin foil reduces the pain in cleaning and doesn't alter the taste nor the cooking time. 😉

Arrived prompt and like all Tefal products I have purchased does exactly what it’s made to doIt’s simple and easy to use and due to my arthritis I find it easy to carry and having the full length handle very easy to open and close.The little tray underneath is perfect for collecting all the fats / juices that come from the food being cooked and the overall design of the raised edges prevents fat from running all down the sides like some of these type of grills do so their is no mess to have to keep cleaning up from your work surfaces.It’s very versatile and I am looking forward to trying out some new recipes that I have seen other people make using these grills.I have purchased a Tefal deep fat fryer and also the fabulous Tefal ingenio pans set and I have to say I have been very happy with all of my Tefal products.I would highly recommend this Tefal grill to anyone looking for a good quality well made sturdy grill.And it also looks good and simply stores away in a kitchen cupboard when it’s not needed as it can be stored away on its side.And I was very happy with the price of this item worth every penny.

I've owned this for over 6 months now and I must say I am very happy with it. It heats up very quickly, it is great for toasted sandwiches, paninis, streaky bacon and burgers. It is very easy to put away when not in use as you can fold it up and store it in a cupboard. The plates are easy to clean and the coating has remained in perfect condition.The only issue with this grill is that there is only one heat setting. Its only got a high heat setting, perfect for all I am using it for, but if you need to grill things on low or medium this would not be for you. However multiple heat setting grills are often much more expensive.

We've had this grill/Panini/toastie machine for over a year now and are very happy with it. You can probably fit 4 toasted sandwiches or six Panini's but we tend to just do two at a time. It heats up in about 2 minutes and cooks them in around four. The results are very good. The plates are easy to clean and the Teflon is still in good condition. I can imagine this being suitable for a small catering business (with it's fast heat up time it wouldn't have to be on 6 hours a day) But at £50 I wouldn't guarantee that. As a domestic appliance, I absolutely recommend this Tefal grill, it's brilliant.

I was expecting a better design from Tefal. As others have said it's difficult to clean, the fat doesn't run into the catch-pot and when you raise the lid all of the fat runs off the top grill plate onto your worktop and over the back of the grill. Also, the lid is so large that when you open it it catches on the underside of the wall cupboards, so you can't open it fully and have to hold it open, which makes it difficult to use. As the flex is so short, you can't easily position it anywhere away from a socket which might not interfere with a wall cupboard, so I have only one small area on my worktop I can use it!

Great little grill. I’ve only used it to toast sandwiches so far; as that was the main reason for buying it. But I am very impressed with the Tefal. It toasts a nice sandwich and the grill plates are large enough to accommodate two big sandwiches with ease. Easy to clean and if we ever use it for meat etc, there is a drip tray that removes and is dishwasher safe, which should make clean-up easy.All in all a good replacement to my old toastie maker. The proof being my kids want me to use it for lunch four times a week!
