Eclipse Sun Sleeves

I have purchased many brands of UV blocking clothing items since I moved to Florida and I have medical issues where I must avoid sun exposure. This brand is the best because 1) It fits well......long enough to cover my entire arm (I have long arms) and thin enough that they do not fall down like some other brands. I am 5'9" and 115 lbs. 2) the fabric is not too oppressive for Florida. Some other brands I bought were more like heavy thick compression hose and while that may be necessary for those with circulatory issues, for me in FL it is just too hotThe only downside is they are more expensive than other brands but so far they are my favorite brand. I have several pairs, there is a good selection of colors and once they had a discount coupon on Amazon.

I've had a lot of sun sleeves over the years, and these yellow ("Neon") ones are my favorite ones ever!Things I like: * The fabric feels cool even in hot sun. * They reach beyond my wrists to also cover much of my hands. * The yellow color looks good. * In Amazon's pictures of the different colors, the yellow ones are the only ones that have a printed-on label instead of a sewn-on one. Labels don't usually bother me, but I've had some terribly itchy, pokey labels on other brands of sun sleeves. These sun sleeves have a printed-on label, so they are poke-free and itch-free. I like that. * The tops stay up -- no slipping down. Somehow Eclipse did this with just fabric -- no elastic or silicone non-slip band. * I have size Small and they fit me perfectly. I weigh 112 pounds and am 5 feet tall and female. I usually fit a women's size small t-shirt. * As sun sleeves go, they look great! * I got mud on them, then ran them through the washing machine and hung them up to dry. No shrinkage, and they look brand new! * Sun protection with no need to re-apply or to wonder if you put on enough sunscreen. No worries about whether it blocks UVA and UVB. No weird chemicals!Things I don't like: * Expensive!

I have had skin cancer twice now. After researching sun exposure I was surprised to see how much sun you get riding in a car. These sleeves are not hot. In fact I am cooler wearing them as a passenger or driving. Wish they had them when I used to sail competitively. I plan to show the sleeves, you do get two, when I see my kids who still participate in sailing events. I can see how the sleeves would protect you from getting windburn as well as sunburned. I also think if you were wearing them while on the water you would stay even cooler if you wet the sleeves. Just a thought.Don't take a risk being penny wise and dollar foolish. Spend a few more bucks and make sure you are buying a quality product AND make sure that you are getting TWO sleeves. Not all companies are priced for TWO sleeves. These are.

The tops of these need some type of elastic to keep from slipping. Otherwise they do the job. I got ten for golf but felt they were too hot for that. Perfect for kayaking, just need at shirt with longer sleeves to cover the upper arm/shoulder area where they slip.

I. Love. These. Sleeves.I have a sun allergy and have been living in southern Arizona, so covering up is an absolute must for me, and I wish I had discovered these sleeves years ago! I put these on every time I go outside, and I haven't had a sun rash on my arms since. They offer excellent sun protection, but they are still lightweight, and they don't feel hot or uncomfortable to wear, even in the summer. I'm up to two pairs now so I can alternate, and I'm looking forward to gettting more color options.A note about sizing: I'm a plus size woman with large biceps, and I find that the largest size on Amazon does not go all the way up my arms, as shown in the picture. However, since I usually wear short sleeves, anyway, I just pull them up to just past my elbows, and they still stay put with no slipping or rolling down.

I bought this product is an addition to my safety gear for my site work in the sun. Though I haven't field tested it yet (I will next week). In tryin it on it feels great against my skin and isn't tight. I'm 6'-3" and about 230lbs with slight athletic build. The medium was what I ordered and it fits fine. Though I think the next I plan to order would be a large. However overall it seems well made and fits great. After my field test I'll give an update.

I got the large size and they fit perfect not uncomfortable either - I thought they were gonna be uncomfortable and hot to wear but they are surprisingly the opposite. Having my arm directly in the sun with these on and NOTHING my arm isn't burning - these protect really well - yet only complaint I have is there's no navy blue - red or black ones - I could use those colors better for work. But other than that these are perfect <3

Well, after 3 years and about 1,000 miles of backpacking with poles, it is finally time to buy a new pair. These have done me well. They are a little stained, a little holey (from poles) but still retain their comfort and have not stretched out.I am outdoors a lot and hate sunscreen or lotions as I then have to sleep in a down bag so I want to be as clean as possible. These are easy to wash, take on and off, and if I ever got too hot in them, I would just soak them in the nearest stream.

just received mine today and happy with colour and feel. I am 49yrs old, 5'6'' and 146lbs. I bought size M but I find them too long. My arm length is 20-21". Perhaps I should have bought the small...

So much easier than wearing a long sleeved top to protect your arms against sun rays. So easy to put them on when going out to garden. Easy to pack & to wash. This is my second set and an essential item when traveling to sunny climates.

Spf 50, great for driving, gardening etc.

They're super comfy and breathable. However, I found them to be quite see-through... not very sun smart. I prefer the Coolibar sleeves/gloves.

great so far, certainly longer than most, they stay up well and the large fits a 15 inch bicep
