Ive seen alot of reviews on here talking about how it dosent fit their ipod.. This is most likely due to either off brand ipods OR they made a mistake.. please please please make sure you have the right ipod before you buy this. It fit my ipod just fine, it took alittle bit to put on cause it was alittle tight fit but thats just for it to be secure.. alittle bonus is theres alittle keychain holder on the back so you can put a cute charm on it! :3c

Fits perfectly on the classic iPod 6/7th gen slim. Doesn’t affect the dial or access to buttons or cable connections.

Fits perfectly!! I was really skeptical because it doesnt show the case would fit for a 7th generation ipod but I couldnt find one anywhere that specifically says for 256gb ipod, so I went for this one and hoped for the best. Definitely a great buy for the price and fits very well.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago now, and it worked great until then. Before we get there, I wanna start by saying a lot of the reviews complained about this not fitting their generation of iPod Classic. I strongly recommend you really do your research about what model you have/what thickness it is so you don't end up buying this for the wrong model. This fit my iPod Classic 7th Gen 160 GB model from 2009 perfectly. Similar models that would fit this thickness would be the 5th gen classic 30 GB, 6th gen 80 GB, and my 7th Gen 160 GB from '09. This was a great case and did a good job at protecting my iPod from harsh scratches and drops, which was what I bought it for. What I didn't expect was for the clips to stop working after about 3 weeks. I took my iPod in and out of this thing a lot, which I feel like is normal to do. After taking it out one night, the clips broke on one side and it now no longer closes. The case also didn't have the flushest fit, and a lot of dust, hair, and other debris would clog up around the click wheel cutout, hence why I would take it out of the case for cleaning. I think I may have only taken it out of the case maybe 4 times before the clips broke on me. If you're planning on slapping this on and not touching it, this may be a good fit for you. But for me, it didn't work how I expected it to.

It’s a super clear case it worked great on my gen 7, 160 gb iPod. It doesn’t feel super bulky, but if you have a dock, it may not allow the pins to fully reach the iPod. I think it was a good price for what it was and it protects my iPod and gives me ease of mind.

Fits onto my ipod perfectly, but somehow won't fit in my ipod charger dock when I try to play music. I have to take the case off every time to use my dock. Other than that, I love this case! Makes my ipod look nice and shiny and protects it well.

zero for two. yeah they got my money twice, but this just sucks. I have a "thin" 7th gen ipod and this has such a difficult closing a 2nd time. the 1st one didnt work at all. it did come with a basic screen protector and one for the click wheel as well. The click wheel one is terrible. it has some sort of waffle pattern but it really has a hard time with the touch sensitivity. The value is great but its is for something that just doesnt work. if you do manage to close it, it will only be effective for one drop and it WILL crack. a soft case with impact edges would be better. I really wanted this to work so i could show off the amazing all blue color. but it really takes away from it still. no photos, its just gone and just really not worth the effort to even return it. Just a terrible overpriced product.
