Shires ARMA Acrilan Lined Saddle Pad

Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say about this half pad. It is thin, the straps are black instead of white as pictured, and the fake sheepskin is not only synthetic, it is also scratchy, mostly air and clumpy. Sorry but it is functionally and optically a disaster, it has to go back!

This half pad is VERY thin and doesn't provide much relief to the horses's back. The lining on the half pad gets dirty and matted very quickly - definitely not the best material. It gets the job done, but there are better options on the market.

So I like the fit of this pad, and it fit well with my 17.5 inch jumping saddle. However, when I went to pull the pad up to readjust it before I put my saddle down, some of the fleece pulled out. I didn't think I had tugged on it that hard but apparently I did. So, I'm not sure how long it will last, but if you're like me and you can't afford a $100 dover sheepskin pad, this will do the trick for a while.

This pad is far from being show quality, but it makes a great spare (which was my intended use for it). The synthetic fleece is very wispy but it does the job and fits my 18" saddles well

Really love this pad. It adds the perfect cushion under my saddle and is easy to clean.

Way too big!!! Does not give the effect of a “half pad”. You could order a size down. Quality of this is great though. Very well made just order with sizing in mind!

Quality product. Sizing difficult to gauge and product that arrived was much smaller than expected. Call FIRST. Not after as I’ve had little help from customer service.

Worked perfect! Tried it out under 17 inch, medium tree, synthetic dressage saddle and it was a perfect fit. My daughter was so happy with how this fit with her saddle. I love how much cheaper it is than a dressage half pad.
