Fixed my broken lamp!
I posted pictures of what the original part looked like that needed replacing & then how it looks now & it did exactly what I needed. This is the part of the lamp that holds the switch & screw in part for the bulb in place & upright. My only concern is I’ll have to get a lampshade that doesn’t hook into those parts on the side because it sticks out a bit and won’t allow for that. Other than that, I love it.

Doesn't fit my 34mm lamp
These didn't fit my 34mm lamp; they got stuck after a few twists. I have bruises on my hand from trying to get them off, which I wasn't sure was going to happen at all. I guess it's possible that the threaded part of my base below the top portion is wider than 34mm, but that would be kind of odd.

It fits and it works
Somehow broke this ring which secures the glass lamp shade at the top of a tall standing lamp. Measured the broken one at 1 3/8" and hoped for the best... it fit and it works (keeping the glass shade from wobbling).

Design flaw?
The piece threads well, however, the interior walls are too thick making it too small for my shade ring to sit inside of it.The next size-up advertised measurements are too large.Rather than send it back, for now, I am resting my lampshade atop the ring and duct taping the sides together.I don't recommend this product.
