Got this on a discount for my karate mad children. It's OK for the price I paid. Children played with it for half hour after spending a fair amount of time working out the different moves and it's now in the toy box! Be careful not to actually 'chop' it with your hands as it will hurt! It's pretty sturdy and overall a fun toy. There's a few different moves and modes plus single or multi player.

We really enjoyed playing this game. Only downside is if you hit it too hard it can hurt your hand, but overall a lot of fun. Stand is a little bit flimsy but board is very sturdy.

Having watched the Karate Kid movies recently the children (and my wife) are suffering from a martial arts craze. Not only do I have the witness constant mock karate duels and mediation crane style poses, I have to endure their kick and chop practice as well. Therefore I thought it a good idea to buy this game to get them some practice. All were delighted by it as a gift. They enthusiastically played with it …for about 10 minutes, and …it has been gathering dust since. Sadly, the family turned its attention to me again for practice.The set is all plastic with some electronics inside producing sound and light and that allow you to play different types of games. It requires some initial assembly, but batteries (it used 3 AAA batteries) were included and a stand as well. I got it for a decent price I thought, but if its not played with, as is the case, it is not really worth it.

I didn't realise how great this was when my son asked for it. He spends ages playing it and actually we've all had a go!

So quiet cant hear anything.

Perfect gift for a little ninja, has 3 settings so keeps them entertained and can be used in group play or alone play. My 4yr olds fav Xmas toy!

Great fun and highly addictive, I'm am entering the allvalley karate championships due to my many hours of practice and fence painting.
