The author did an awesome job with describing the symptoms of pst. And the effects it can have on those working crimes such as these. Interlocking all of the different cases wow. Switching back and forth from past to present, got confusing for a bit as her father and ex boyfriend is involved also. Can't wait for next book!

This is my fourth book this week following Emma Griffin. What does that tell you? The intriguing thing is how each book drops little tidbits about her father. It is looking like he is not a good guy after all.

As usual really a good read . It left me a bit confused though . Was it her dad ? How did that get lost in the read ?

This book kept me guessing until the very end. I didn't want to put it down until I was finished. I will definitely read other books by the author.

I feel like the author is still trying to make a much broader story line from this series. The plot is okay, but I’m more curious on the over all story that is slowly unfolding in the background. The first book was captivating and I feel like I’m hanging on to understand the larger story. I will press on.

This is my 4th in the series and I'm hooked! I intend to keep reading until she burns out, hopefully that will be quite some time away. Keep it up, PLEASE!!!

This was emotional and trying to read. Every which way Emma turns, it seems like she’s slipping and the person who’s supposed to be her strength, Sam thinks so also. The predicaments get tougher and tougher. She is definitely a fighter and strives forward towards unraveling the truth but it’s taxing on her physically and mentally. How much more can one person take?

Gripping read, great story twists, and the plot just keeps building from book to book, can’t wait to get onto the next one!

What an excellent book, as with all the books in this series have been. Great story, characters and mystery with lots of twists and turns. I highly recommend it.

AJ Rivers Emma Griffin series are a brilliant read. I’m making my way through the series. I get so caught up in the novel I lose all track of time. If you enjoy crime and murder stories you’re gonna love this series.
