Gobsmacked!
Having regard to the significant number of poor reviews for this phone, I knew in advance it was going to be a high risk £80 gamble to buy one. But the gamble paid off! They said it would not be possible to get a smartphone that would accept my ancient, standard SIM with genuine Pay as You Go / top up at e.g. supermarket as needed, and that I would either have to enter a contract or pay a regular direct debit of minimum £11 per month for something masquerading as 'pay as you go' and tough luck if you don't need to use 5gb a month. How wrong they could be! I put my trusty old SIM into the big slot and , hey presto, my first smartphone! It does everything my Fire7 tablet does and everything works - £80 for a phone that does all the things that one costing ten times as much would do. So why only 4 stars then? Answer: the totally useless instructions that left me at the mercy of Google (horrendous , bamboozling and intrusive) to set things up with a miniscule keyboard to small for my moderately sized hands, and an obligatory additional email account I have no use for. And I'm having nightmares about whether I have checked the right boxes amongst the plethora I had to complete, not knowing what I have let myself in for! But can't blame that on the phone itself.

I bought it because it was cheap. I returned it because I got what I paid for.
I bought this phone to use while my Samsung Galaxy is in for repair. I returned it the following morning.Pros:- Less than £65Cons- Terrible performance, even with Android Go. Android Go is designed for devices with <1GB RAM - this device has 2GB, and is still choppy when scrolling or changing apps. This is to such a bad extent that I often found myself clicking on something I didn't want to when the screen suddenly changes because the device finally decides to execute a function I asked for three taps ago.- You cannot swap between apps. Android Go does not even have a navigation bar. You can run one app at a time, and if you want to swap out to another app - say, to check an address, or a phone number - you can't swap back to the first app. You have to close the app, open your Contacts, close your contacts, relaunch the first app, lose all your progress, and start again.- So, so, soooooo slow.- Reeeeally slow.- Did I mention it was slow?- Seriously, I nearly threw the thing at the wall.I couldn't handle this phone. It was infuriating. It was like trying to file my taxes on an Etch-a-Sketch.I ended up spending £135 on an Oppo A72 instead, and blimey - it really makes the Ulefone look like a potato.Unless you absolutely cannot afford to spend a penny more than the cost of this phone, don't buy it. The medical bills you will incur as a by-product of the stress of trying to use this device probably make it worth forking out a bit more on a different phone anyway.

Worse phone I've ever used - seller was good though
EDIT - seller has contacted me and agreed to refund. They have advised that this issue has not been experienced previously.5 star seller bought this phone to use temporarily whilst my Samsung screen is being fixed. It barely functions. The camera is blurry, battery life and storage is poor and I've had 4 serious errors causing shutdown when doing the most simple task on the phone.Do not buy.

Incompatible
Although this is a good starter phone I found it was too slow and unable to load the apps I needed for my smart watch. The battery was at 80% when it arrived. I had the phone working whilst trying to load apps which took around 90 minutes by which time the battery had gone down to 45% and it was hot to touch. Needless to say I sent it back and got the Blackview phone which suited my needs.

Rather slow
Good simple entry level phone, very cheap and not surprising rather limited. Biggest problem is its so slow to respond. Updates take forever. However good bright screen and the simple setting makes it ideal for visually challenged old gits like me.

should have full written instructions with it
The phone ok but it keeps requesting additional memory card which has been inserted in the correct slot the card i used came from my existing phone where it worked fine, i deleted all items on the card, but when it is inserted into slot it is recconised straight away. It must be a poor connector as when the phone is in normal use ie walking about ect within a short time it looses contact and tells me there to install a card. can i have a response to this comment,it will save me taking the phone to a shop. It does have small card in the packing box with a contact number, for problems will you ask the supplier to ring the number 20 times then let me know how they managed to get through i cannot get through not even to a computer.

Its OK for the price
The screen size is different from the size described on sellers page. Double check when entering passwords as what you think youve touched something else might come so the screen is a bit iffy and jumps around too much. Battery life is ok for the price as far as generic android phones go.

Good for the price
Needed a mobile for 2-phase authentication - which seems to be more and more common.Checking weather, news and email a bonus.Nothing complex or demanding, so didn't need a big powerful phone, this is ideal.
