Easy to setup, good app
I was concerned when I didn't see very many reviews. But I reached out to the company with a couple of questions and the response was very prompt, which was a good sign for customer service. So I went ahead and ordered. It was very easy to put together. I've had it for about 3 weeks now. For the first 2 weeks, I used it 3-4x/wk without the app. I found a ton of rowing videos on YouTube, so that works out well. The 3rd week, I continued to use videos, but I paired it with the app.The display on the unit is serviceable; but, when you connect the app you can see better metrics. In the app, you can switch from miles to kilometers for your distance rows. It shows SPM, Time, Distance, etc. It also records your workouts.I've previously had hydraulic rowers, but this is my first magnetic rower. I really wanted something quiet, and distance display was a must (many of my workout books or videos that I've been wanting to try include rower workouts that are distance based). I had found that magnetic rowers were reportedly quieter than fan rowers. This is sufficiently quiet for me to hear YouTube or my shows while getting in some exercise. So far so good.

Great for beginners, mid level user
I wanted an exercise machine that I would use, and rowing is a great whole body work out. Treadmills and elipticals (sp) are too loud and take up too much room. I also didn't have the budget or the desire to spend a lot of money. This machine fits the bill perfectly. I am not an avid rower and am not relying on this as my only workout so again, it is perfect. It was fairly easy to assemble, and while long, doesn't take up a bunch of room, and is light enough to move around as needed. I have not tried to fold it, but honestly don't see this as a great benefit, as it does seem that this would be kind of a hassle, and would wear certain parts quickly. But again, that is a perception, because I have not even tried the feature.I am bigger woman in my early 50's and this is plenty sturdy, seat slides easy, as it should, it is not overly loud, which my housemates are appreciative of. I would strongly recommend to someone who is looking for a low impact whole body workout. However, for the more avid rower, or more advance fitness type, I can see that this might not be what they are looking for. Overall, if you are looking for something to get you moving in the right direction, I don't think you can go wrong with this machine.

Great for the money
The rower is better than I expected for the money. It is sturdy, has plenty of tension, is smooth, quiet, the app works well, and provides a good workout. My only complaint is that the distance / calorie count isn’t accurate. I crossfit and am use to using a commercial machine. I can pull a calorie a stroke on the commercial rowers, but this rower seems to measure on stroke count, not resistance or strength of pull. It provides a good workout, but makes it hard to do Rx workouts at home when the count is off. Other than that it is better than expected for the money!

Insanely Easy Assembly but the Machine is a Little Wobbly
The instructions for the machine were terrific! They literally put all the pieces inside plastic wrap and labeled them by steps, so you knew exactly when to use what part. Fantastic instructions. Using the machine is pretty simple, too but folding it isn't easy as the locking bar can go all over the place on the inside, making it complicated. The rower is a little wobbly too, and my iPad kept sliding, so I had to place some foam under one leg. Even while using the machine, it's a little unsteady, but for the price I paid, it works well. If you plan on doing intense rowing, this is not the machine for you, but if you just want some light to moderate exercise, then it's worth the low price.

Seems to be good rower, easy to assemble, great FREE app.
Needed 2 to relocate box to 2nd floor of home. But, was able to inbox the rower and assemble it within 2 hours by myself. Follow the directions and you’ll be fine; I am by no means a handy person. If I can do it anyone can. The app is awesome, provides all the info you need to track your workouts plus motivation. Which is what I need. Only drawback is the app does not share info with Fitbit. Once I put the rower together I rowed one mile. Butt hurts a bit, I can feel the workout, I am so out of shape. Looking forward to many more and longer workouts! Very pleased with my purchase.

Customer Service is Exceptional!
The rower was easy to assemble. The resistance could be more but this is about what I expected for a magnetic resistance. The digital display wasn't fully operational and the company contacted me right away to correct it and a couple days later I had it fully operational. Customer service was exceptional!!

Excellent for the price - and the app works!
After price comparisons, I settled on the ShareVgo because of the app and other reviews that said it was decent, considering it's on the low-end of the cost scale. Assembly was easy, although I was missing a piece (a rubber stopper for the seat)! I emailed the company and immediately they mailed me one... with a hand-written note!! Very impressive. The app's great in giving you something to shoot for, and you can try to improve on your own best scores for the challenges. My only complaints are that it's not as stable as I wish, and so the "phone holder" is not a good place to put a device... it will move around and possibly fall. A wider and more stable base would be my one suggestion for the next version. Otherwise, it's a great buy for the price.

Good value
I’m not an experienced rower, but this machine certainly seems to get the job done, especially for the price. I’m over 200lbs, so I added an extra seat pad and it’s perfect now.
