Shimano makes great quality products even at this price point. This part was installed into an older bike with a failing bottom bracket. It made a huge difference and this new bottom bracket will likely outlast the bike at this point. Great product at a great price.

I am rebuilding an early 2000s Specialized Expedition hybrid commuter bike. Almost always the original bottom bracket, whether sealed or loose ball bearings, gets crunchy or noisy after 20 years. For the time and effort required to clean and lube and/or rebuild one, I usually just buy a new replacement. After experimenting with a few no-name substitutes for a few dollars less, I have come back to Shimano. This UN300 rides smooth and fit right in my frame. Advice for novices would be to buy the right tool for your specific BB removal, take your time, use penetrating oil and don't force if it won't budge, make sure you are turning the correct direction, clean your threads and clean them again, and use a little grease on the threads when reinstalling. Did an upgrade on an old 1982 Schwin Traveler bottom bracket. Just the right fit for replacement of the old ball bearing style that came on the original bike.

These are an affordable replacement for cup-and-bearing bottom brackets when restoring older steel bikes. I have the necessary tools because I have done this several times now.

Sprockets Limited sent the item via Royal Mail 48hr delivery - fair enough......except it took 6 days to arrive. Not the seller fault and to be fair their comms is excellent. They respond within a couple of hours to any questions/queries.Anyway, the bottom bracket is here and looks fab - will fit it when I have a a spare hour or so. WIll probably use Sprockets Limited again.

カノーバーのロードバイク用に110mmのものを購入しましたが、右側の方はちゃんと入りましたが、左側のワンがねじ山が合わず、入りませんでした。元々ついていたものは鉄製で、手で回して入るくらいでしたが、このアルミのワンはねじ山がずれているわけではないのに、渋くてBBのねじ山をつぶしそうだったので、もともとついていた鉄製のものを利用して諦めました。たまたま個体差なのかもしれませんが、右側が問題なかっただけに、ちょっと残念。あと、右側の軸にストッパー？シム？のようなものが写真ではついていますが、届いたものには付属していませんでした。微妙にフレームによるので本来は有るべきものなのかなと思います。

はまらないので確認してみると、ネジ山が潰れていたり変に盛り上がっていた。シマノというブランドを信頼して買ったのにとても残念だった。
