Overall great… once they are installed. Directions are straight forward, but not accurate. You’ll need a larger hole for the ceiling mount option if that’s what you are looking for. Wall mount option is easy as pie. It definitely holds a larger curtain rod so size wasn’t an issue.

A few years ago I bought curtain rods from Lowe's for my home. They had a very similar bracket in the original sets that i bought. When I was getting the same ones for an additional area in the house, they did not have the same closed brackets. The brackets that were included are an open cup kind of style where the rod sits on it. In my opinion it just didn't make the curtain rods feel as high of quality or give it the same "finished" look as the original ones. So searching around here on Amazon, I was able to find these. They have a good finish and are very sturdy. The style matches very closely to my original set of curtain rods.

The hardware isn't like heavy-duty high end, but it works. Super easy to install way easier than installing on the wall. The only issue I encountered was I had to purchase a 3/8 drill bit for installing in the ceiling. And yes I know my curtain rod is a different color than the curtain grommet. The rod I ordered was too small for the window, so I'm using this until the new one arrives.

I needed to hang a 80 inch bar across part of my living room ceiling to support some hanging plants. These brackets were the right length, (most other offerings were shorter) and attractive (many brackets like this are stamped and bent flat metal and ugly, designed to be hidden). The cost was reasonable, and it serves my needs perfectly. Great product. I especially like that it came with two lengths of screws, to be able to accommodate a variety of bar/rod widths.

I was replacing a broken bracket and had to hope it matched up. Other than beefier and better made, it worked with the existing brackets on the curtain rod. My only advice is to include the hole spacing dimensions in the drawing on the Amazon web page. I had to just hope, but it turned out fine. EDIT: By the way, the bracket I replaced with these had broken at the weld, so the single piece construction touted above is a real advantage and not just marketing.

My 1” rod did not fit these brackets! Maybe up to 1” rod meant anything under 1” rod
