Guru Coffee Company High Caffeine Medium Roast Ground Coffee, Natural Energy From Premium Gourmet Specialty Grade Beans, 11 ounce

When I first heard of "high caffeine" coffees back in 2015-ish, I had a terrible experience with the brand Death Wish Coffee. Not from the high caffeine content but from terrible tasting coffee. This experience has stuck with me for some time. Have no fear; drink Guru's 2x the caffeine coffee for a great-tasting bolt of energy. I love that this Guru coffee doesn't taste burnt and isn't bitter. I didn't have to add a ton of milk to my coffee to mask the unwanted tastes that other brands, such a Starbucks (the biggest offender) and others, accept as "good" coffee. I am happily drinking this Guru coffee black and enjoying every moment because it ib smooth and still bold. I appreciate the craftsmanship Guru puts into their brand with their small-batch artisan roast approach; this is a real pick me up to the coffee industry.

When I received my Guru Coffee for the first time, I was very skeptical since I have never heard of this brand before. The coffee grounds smelled great! I made this coffee as how I normal would with my massive collection (I should really finish one bag before purchasing others). I love to taste different brands of coffee. This coffee is made in small batches, which means it probably has better quality control compared to the bigger mass produced brands. I like my coffee black and this tasted amazing and was very smooth. I am not sure if it is because the product is made in smaller batches but this is the best tasting black coffee I have ever had especially with the reasonable cost of this coffee. I will definitely be sharing this with my coffee lover friends.

The taste of this was good. I really didn't get the extra kick of caffeine that I thought I would. It wasn't what I expected for the price I paid.

I used to add 4 Sigmatic to my regular coffee and I do drink their coffee as well, but I wanted to try something different and Guru is amazing coffee. I love the taste and it is convenient that is already mixed with my favorite mushrooms.The deal with mushroom coffee is that is not as acidic as regular one, so it is really smooth and you can enjoy it more. Plus it is more good for you then regular coffee.

I have never used this brand before so I didn't know what to expect. I knew that it provided extra caffeine but other than that, I didn't know how it would taste. My favorite coffee flavor is Peet's Major Dickinson's and I haven't really found another brand that compares to the flavor of Major Dickinson's. I made myself a cup of the Guru coffee and was pleasantly surprised. It had a full and deep flavor comparable to my usual Peet's coffee flavors. I also noticed that after a few minutes, I felt more alert and energized (not jittery, which is how I sometimes feel when I have too much caffeine). Overall, I really enjoyed this brand of coffee and would purchase it again. I would recommend it to others who want an extra jolt of caffeine but don't want to sacrifice the flavor.

I drink coffee everyday but I'm not much of a coffee snob. I would normally just stop by a coffee place on the way to work or buy a cheap bag of whatever's at the grocery store. This coffee however is amazing! So smooth and tastes amazing both hot and cold. Like many others have said it is a bit pricey compared to a huge bag of whatever else you can get, but I think it's definitely worth it. It's also still cheaper than stopping by a Starbucks or Dunkin every day!

Straight out of the bag it smells like that cheap shredded beef jerky that comes in snuff cans. While it's brewing it smells like the butter that would happen if you took breakfast leftovers and coffee grounds, put them in the trash outside for half a hot summer day, then put in all the fridge. Finally, once it's in your cup and you're taking a sip, it smells like baked beans or bean soup. It literally tastes like hot bean water.Sooo if you want to spice up your next batch of chili or baked beans, substitute stock with Gurû Medium Roast Colombian, I guess 🤷‍♀️ It's not terrible after adding milk and flavoring, but definitely not for me when it's plain.I do really like the packaging, though. It was super easy to open, not ripping at the seam like most other bags do.

I was sceptical that it could have the extra caffeine that it says on the packaging and still be a great tasting coffee. I didn't really think the extra caffeine would help my energy at all either. I was wrong on both counts. The taste it amazing and smooth, silky and delicious. No extra bitterness from the added caffeine. Just one really yummy smooth coffee, that I personally drink all through the day. The best is a small coffee with dessert right after our evening meal. I do feel extra energized, more so than with other coffees, but not so much as to make me jittery or shaky. Just three right amount to help me get going.
